I was just wondering what are some of your favorite lures and or live bait to use, and would recommend having on you at all times.
Texas rigged plastic

Exactly.
Jig with craw trailer, and I'll be a oddball and say frog.
There are times in open water I've seen a splash and thrown to it and gotten a hook up on the frog, and you can throw it anywhere.
Spinnerbait, can fish above weeds, down low and slow roll it. Any color water. I just always have confidence in a spinnerbait
Texas rigged plastics for sure, whether it be weightless or weighted. Various weights and types of plastics, depending on what I "think" they want. Depending on the cover, i'll fish a frog or jig. In open water around structure I like to give em a unskirted jig head with a grub.
My favorite to fish are jigs with rage craw trailer!
I've had the most success with square bill crankbaits, texas rigged plastics and jigs.
I have a lot of confidence in spinnerbaits, wacky rigged senkos, and jigs. Have them tied on every time I go fishing.
For sheer numbers of fish: TX rigged plastics.
Id have to say a jig or senko. I have at least one of the two(sometimes both) tied on every time I go out.
Spinnerbaits , plastics and senkos.
1. Rage Toad
2. Rage Toad
3. Rage Toad
This is my first year getting REALLY into fishing, but in the short time i've had on the water, My favourite lures are definitely a Watermelon 5" senko-type worm with red flake, and recently learned to be effective with the Drop Shot Technique, and loved using Berkley's 3" Power Minnows.
Any soft plastic texas rigged or raged rigged. I can do pretty much everything i ever need to do with em
Whatever you are most comfortable with and have the most confidence in. But some top producers are..
1.T-Rigged Soft Plastic(Worm,Lizard,Craw,Etc.)
2.Jig w/Soft Plastic Craw Trailer
3.Crankbait
4.Spinnerbait
5.Topwater Popper/Spook
6.Topwater Frog
My Top Five Personal Favorites are..
1.Swim Jig
2.Hollow Bodied Frog
3.Topwater Popper
4.T-Rigged Soft Plastic
5.Jig w/Soft Plastic Craw Trailer
Kimani Palm Trees
swimsenkos
Spinnerbaits
I love to T-rig a Rage Craw!!! Watermelon Pumpkin!
But when everything fails, Rapala Original Floater. This will always land fish!!! I don't know why, but it never fails me.
I would have to say a white buzzbait and a KVD 1.5 Squarebill Crank in Sexy Chart Shad color.
A jig with some kind of plastic trailer on it.
My top toad in either black, baby bass, or catapla
Carolina rig (summer)
Jig/Texas rig (spring, fall, winter)
Here's what I typically have tied on and use in order of preference:
1. Koppers Live Target Frog, 55 or 65. Yellow or Green typically. Lately Yellow has been working.
2. Spinnerbait, usually in white. I fish clearer water so I use willow blades.
3. Crank bait or jerk bait. I usually throw Rapalas
4. Drop shot rig with a shad, worm, or tube.
5. Texas rigged worm
It's all about confidence and what the fish are telling you. I start out fishing a frog and when that stops working, I try faster more aggressive techniques and if that doesn't work, I slow down. I am trying to learn new techniques. Lately, I've been drop shotting and I love it, what a productive way to catch fish. Next, I'll work on jigging.
My favorite lure to fish with would have to be various sizes of Rebel Pop-R. There's nothing like topwater bass fishing, its the best.
Having said that, I would feel real silly if I didn't at least give a texas rigged plastic or a crank a chance in the water. Not the most exciting way to catch bass but they're definitely more productive in my opinion for catching good numbers of fish.
This time of year in New York all I use is roboworms. Texas rigged or dropshot. Aaron's magic is my favorite color

X2
Another vote for T-rig. Most time a 3/16.oz with 7.5" worm is in hand or close by ;-)

this, and a wacky rigged senko.
Swimbaits, spinnerbaits, jig and pig...
My current favorite bait is my home made jika rigs/ baited with a brush hog or a zellemander lizard.
Month of July stats are as follows. 4 July trips. Jika rig - 17 keepers (15" and up, largest a 21" 5 lb or so fish) and an additional 40 or so slot fish (12" to 15") All other rigs, (deep & shallow cranks, spinner baits, chatter baits, Eakins Jig, tx rigged senko, wacky rigged senko, rattle trap type bait) 40 or so slot fish, 1 keeper (17" on tx rigged senko)
My home made jika rigs weigh out from 13 to 17 grams, which is roughly 3.8 to 5/8 oz. All the keeper fish came from 10 to 17 feet of water. The majority of the slot fish were a little shallower.
Favorite thing to throw is a spinnerbait/chatterbait or swim jig..
My Most productive and confidence bait is zoom baby brush hog 4/0 hook and a 1/8 tungsten weight..
