I usually fish with only plastics. What's your favorite Brand and color?
Rage or Grande bass.I like Browns,Blues or shad colors.I like to dye the pinchers on crawdad baits orange.
Not in any particular order I use ; net bait, berkely, cormoront (hand pours),zoom, yamamoto. Some others also but rarely. I like a variety of natural colors and dark colors. Watermellon, green punkin, red shad, black. some others also but rarely.
Zoom. Made in GA, and the fish kill them
^^ Green pumpkin, sorry for the double tap..
1. Yamamoto
2. Zoom
3. Strike King
Zoom lizzards in pumpkinseed and black emerald
Zoom ole monster or Berkley 10" powerworm in black
Berkley 5" powerhog in pumpkinseed and watermelon
Berkley PB realistix kickerfrog in tree frog color. ( I dont use plastic body frogs.... After finding these I stopped using them!)
Soft plastics: Zoom, Reaction Innovations, RoboWorm,
Colors: Watermelon Green, Aarons magic, Green Pumpkin
Berkley powerbait and havoc, zoom, gycb but most of the time I'm throwing strike king rage tail plastics. Usually in a green pumpkin, watermelon, some kind of crawfish color like big Texan or falcon lake craw and I also have a few in red Shad. Of course I have alot of other colors but those are my mainstays.
I like em all, they all catch fish. I love flipping style lures and finesse worms. I'd have to say my favorite flippin bait is the havoc pit boss. As for my favorite finesse worms, its a tie between roboworms and BiteIt Baits ninja worm - they have some nice action when walked, and the tail foats
I like Zoom for the price, color selection, availability, and the great baits. I've seen the Rage baits, but they are too hard to hard to find in my area. Zoom has revolutionary, timeless baits in the trick worm, finesse worm, fluke, brush hog and horny toad.
Favorite colors are black with green pumpkin a close second.
Yamamoto, watermelon
I really don't have a favorite brand. I do however use certain name brand more than others, but everything I have has worked and caught fish. My favorite color however seems to be watermelon.
I use Yum, Barlow's (great baits at a bargain price),Zoom and Strike King mostly.
As far as color, worms in tequila sunrise, red shad, junebug, black, green pumpkin and watermelon seed. Craws and creature baits in natural craw colors, black/blue flake, watermelon and green pumpkin.
Grubs, smoke/silver flake, black, white, watermelon / red glitter and chartreuse.
Tom
Mostly Rage Tail, some GYCB and recently BITE IT!
My most used plastics are (somewhat in order)
RI Skinny Dipper
Gambler Big Ez
Gambler 13" worm
Zoom Horny Toad
Zoom Ol Monster
Havoc Fatty Craw
Rage Toad
Yamamoto Senko
RI Sweet Beaver
Rage Chunk
Zoom Magnum Speed Worm
Rage Space Monkey
I use mostly Zoom, Rage Tail and Net Bait products....not to say I don't use others....I'm easily attracted to the latest gimmick.
Lizards:Zoom in Watermelon variety colors. Worms:Culprit Red Shad. Frogs:BPS Horney Toad. Shad Like:Gambler EZ Swimmers Green Copperfield.
roboworm for sure, they constantly produce bass, i had them beaten senkos by 2:1
Zoom, Reaction Innovations, and on occasion some Mann's augertails.
Colors vary but I throw a lot of watermelon/red, Red shad, and black/red flek....I also tried the fried watermelon color with the sweet beaver and I caught fish.
I use the Yum baits the most but carry a nice selection of Zoom and Havoc baits. My #1 go to is the 5" Yum Dinger in the bream color.
Stick Worms - Strike King Zeros/Zman Zinkers (both are made with Elaztech material and last 10x longer): junebug or green pumpkin
Shaky - Big Bite Bait Squirrel Tail: junebug or tilapia
Creature Baits - Megastrike Mega Bug: green pumpkin/copper or Havoc Lane's Craw Fatty: black/blue
Frogs - SK Rage Shad: green pumpkin/chart
Zoom and Rage are my favorites. Any Rage product and a keel weighted hook.....bam....you got a fish magnet.
Rage Tail
Yamamoto
Rage and Wave Tiki Super Soft
GYCB, zoom, rage tail. Not in any order, they have produced for me. If I had to choose one, then I'm going with zoom. Because it's fairly cheap, and it works.
Rage tails and Yum Dingers.
Its not the brand you get or how much you spend on them. Its how you present them. Anyone who has used mainly plastics for years (as I have) knows this. I use mainly hand poured plastics a buddy makes. They are cheap and have minor flaws (which I like!) but I catch more fish on these baits than ever before.
Zoom, Strike King, and Yamamoto
Zoom
Net Bait
Yum
Wave Worm
Gambler
That is all the plastics I use....favorite color is anything dark
