I see alot of people talking about flipping and pitching, to the cover types they fish...
What is your favorite and most fun cover to fish?
Laydowns, Matted Hydrilla, Hyacinth, tullies, Pads, or docks.
I pitch to Laydowns everytime I go, but my favorite so far is Matted Hydrilla.
What about YOU?
Cypress trees and lilly pads.
Docks and exposed laydowns
Without a doubt my favorite cover to flip and pitch into has to be timber. Both standing and laydowns.

Cypress Knees for me too, any depth as long as there's fish.

Cypress Trees are fun to pitch to.
But actually flipping and penetrating hydrilla is awesome. 8-)

Never done it, though I just loaded up on punching gear this year. Can't wait to start as soon as the grass starts to matt this summer.

Yeah man, I've done it a few times. But I got a new rod and alot of equipment to do it this year.
I'm going down to toho in like 3 weeks, and plan to do it. I don't think it's primetime to do it down there, but I'm sure I could catch a few doin' it.
Docks. Intresting to look at the docks also....plus fish will stack up on them.
Clancy W

Yup I'm jealous. Water ain't hard here, but it's most certainly not warm. A lot of the grass is still short and hasn't started growing up here yet. It will get matted by May or so. I HATE WINTER!
nope, thats not it nemesis
Floating hyacynth. Punch thru the heavy canopy with a 1.5oz punch bait and hang on.
Wood.
