lets see what you fellas favorite rods are!!
I picked Fenwick. Only because I've fished more expensvie brands and they either didn't have anything on my HMGs, or what they did have didn't warrant an another $200.
I picked shimano....e21 seem like sweet rods, maybe after a couple years of prooving themselves i'd buy one.... also i have had REALY good experiences with shimano and their warranty. Shimano stands by their products.
I picked Shimano. There is a Shimano model for every budget and they all offer good value for the price. My favorites are the Crucial and Compre.
St Croix Avid for me. Mike 8-)
Where is the Ugly Stick?????
St. Croix Avids
Currently Fenwick Techna AV's - great value when discounted. However, there are quite a few brands that I would like to try
St. Croix for me as well.
Later,
Where is All-Star
I picked G-loomis, but I do love my carrot stix. I was kind of torn on this one.
St.Croix
They make rods in every shape and form and I can go up to the store and get factory seconds cheaper and alot of times can't even tell whats wrong with them. Made in a small town in Wisconsin don't hurt either.
st croix for me also
I first started out with st croix and I love em. Until I get enough money to buy rods I can try out, I'll be sticking to what works for now.
Carrots, for $150, I can't find a better rod. I have G.Loomis(all flavors), Quantum, St.Croix, and Shimanos; but the Carrots win out.
gander mountain for me
I love my G-Loomis so much.
the st.croix mojo seems to be a nice rod imo... But I always love my brownings...
These polls really need an "other" choice...most do but some do not....regardless...said kistler
loomis.
Powell Rod here.
Fenwick.
All my rods, both spinning and bait casting are GLoomis GLX's. I do want to try the St. Croix though, maybe up my spring trip to Wisconsin this year.
e21 for me! lovin the carrot stiks!
DOBYNS!
Fear no Fish ....G Loomis hands down, can't beat their warranties ;D
Currently, Lamiglas. Crucials are comparible, but I wanted something different for my Sol.
#1 for me is St Croix, my 2nd string consists of Fenwicks, Shimanos, and BPS branded rods.
OK...so maybe im the oddball here, but i never fish the "elite" rods. i like to keep mine within the 40-70 $ range...i used to fish shimano rods, but now have fallen in love with the BPS microlite (md.lite action) for my bass applications. Some may call me crazy for this, but there's nonthin like hookin up with a large fish on a lite action rod!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For the most part, Loomis & St. Croix.
