What is your favorite/go to 7.1:1 reel? 2024

I am probably going to purchase one tomorrow or in the near future and was wondering what your favorite one is. It seems like most companies make one, but they are usually only carried in 1 or 2 of their models. I am also a lefty so that narrows it down even more for me. I plan to use mine for frogs at first, but plan to expand its functions once I learn more techniques.

Depends what I want a 7:1 reel for. When I'm fishing heavy heavy cover with a frog or punching I like my STXs, but when I'm using a jig or soft plastics I like my Zillions.

x2 but the TE1171 cause its the left hand model. Own two of them and happen to love them, and you can get them new for about $120. Doesnt break the bank and offers a great reel.

I'd have to say my Curado D is pretty darn sweet. Haven't fish for bass (I'm in N. Utah ) with it, but I've fished with it for trout and am surprised how well it cast light setups. Plus I Only paid $70.00 for a brand new reel
