What Quality Inexpensive Fluorocarbon? 2025

Can some of you help and suggest a good affordable, durable and something that has good knot strength. I'm getting ready to spool 6 rods and I'm looking for a fluorocarbon line that is a good price. I have been looking at seaguar, Berkeley trilene 100% fluoro, and p line but they all seem to run 20 bucks for 200 yards any suggestions.
Need fluoro line for the following techniques
Spinnerbaits, buzz bait rod
Senko, floating worm rod
Carolina rig, big plastic, creature rod basically flipping and pitching setup
Soft plastics rod

I personally choose BPS's XPS Fluorocarbon, I have had good luck with it. I have heard great things about Sunline Super FC Sniper Fluorocarbon though. For a good fluorocarbon or at least decent, you're going to spend at least $20 for it. I would recommend mono backing line on each of your reels, so that you aren't wasting any fluorocarbon line. While I love my XPS fluoro, I'll be making the switch to Sunline next, after hearing good things. Remember...the line is the only thing between you and the fish, so choose wisely!

I had good luck with 2 lb vanish for trout, but the 6 and 8 lb on used for bass fishing caused a lot of my catches to VANISH very fast!

Cant always have your pie and eat it too, flouro is one of those cases where you get what you pay for. XPS is the cheapest, and goes on sale frequently and can be picked up for ~15$. If you dont want to spend alot on line, make a compromise and get Yo-Zuri Hybrid. Its a fluoro coated line, and is a lot cheaper than 100% fluoro, and miles better than Vanish, Red Label, and all the other cheap fluoros out there. Plus 12# line breaks at something like 19.5#s

I can fill 3 reels with 200 yards. That's less than 7 dollars a reel. I only strip off 1/4 spool and add new line to the old. Why waste new line on the bottom of the spool?

I've used Berkley 100%, Invizx, and Sunline Sniper. Sunline is a little more quality line than the others, but a tad more $. Invizx and Berkley 100% are good too, but still $20.
I'll second Yozuri Hybrid. Some strong line and very managable.

Use mono backing and then add 50-60 yards of whatever fluoro you want. I just go 1280yrds of Cajun Line for $3.88 and I will fill up most of my reel with that and then tie my Sunline FC Sniper to it to save some money. I can fill up 3-4 reels this way.

I have used and been pleased with vicous line. I am one of the vanish haters I spooled it up and had nothing but birds nest after birds nest. I couldn't get it to stay tight on the spool. Not going to totally bash it because it does fine for some people. ^.

Hybrid is not coated mono, the two lines are combined on a molecular level http://www.yo-zuri.com/ . Hybrid was unique in this the last time I checked other manufacturers do just coat mono.

p line floroclear is good. i have 12lb and its smooth and easy to manage. i have some 20lb floroclear being shipped for my jig setup.

Know why they call it Vanish? Cause that's what every fish you hook with it will do 
Or that's what all your baits you fish with it will do, whichever you prefer. I've heard the newer stuff is better but when it first came out it was junk, never tried it again. Vicious is probably the best cheap fluoro I've used along with Red Label. I do like most and buy good fluoro and just use mostly cheap backing with about 50 yards of fluoro, makes it not quite as expensive that way.

X2 for Bass pro shops XPS been using it for awhile and never had a knot slip or alot of backlashing it cast smooth with a little KVD line & lure connditioner on it.

Somebody already mentioned it, but I looked it up on e bay and you can get flouro for a much better price buying in bulk from the sellers on that site

The reel I sold kanasbassfisher08 had 12# Vanish on it. if he hasn't respooled it give it a try next time you fish with him.

He backlashed it so bad his first cast he had to cut it all out 
I've heard the new stuff is a lot better and obviously there are some pros that fish with it so it must not be that bad, I just had a bad experience that cost me a tournament on one occasion and big fish in another tournament, about 3 grand worth of not wanting to fish with it ever again.

I have nothing to compare it to as this is my 1st time using fluoro. Any probs I had with it were my fault from not being used to it. I did have it break on the spool from birdsnest where the line was bent badly. I tried to be gentle with it. I ended up Splicing what was left on the reel and what I had left on the new spool of line and was able to fill my reel back up. Now Im accustomed to it it works well. Im using it on my cranks, spinners and worms.I didnt use any line conditioner which people say helps alot initially

i use the 15# original vicious for plastics and jigs and have no problems with it if i retie every 3-4 fish.
i've got 8# vicious elite on my spinning and have had good luck with it. i used it on 1 trip without retying all day and caught 18-19 dinks in moderate cover and never broke off. i had probably caught 5-6 fish on it on a previous trip.
i will probably go with 17# elite on my plastics and jigs this year.

No problem with it either. You have to put an extra wrap in your improved clinch knots, if that's what you use, or you will break off at the hook every couple fish if you are Texas rigged.
