I have been trying to build up my collection of rods and reels here lately and I just thought I would share some pics.
From left to right they are:

I know there are some other tackle addicts on the board ;D
Lets see your gear!
This is still my most favorite reel in my collection!
Don't have a rod for it yet, but I will soon..
Yo Muddy,
Show us your gear 8-) (straight line)
Very nice gear. I love that TD Ito reel. Do you know where I can get my hands ona new one?
If you looked up the word sweetness in the dictionary, there would be a picture of your gear there! 8-)
BTW, where did you buy your Pixy? Me wants one.
Thanks for the kind words guys!
Robert, the NIB Ito's are getting harder and harder to find. I just lucked into mine being at the right place at the right time. www.japantackle.com has some pretty nice ones from time to time, but you have to be quick to get them!
On the Pixy, the best place I have found to get them is at Brooklyn Bills. http://www.brooklynbillstackleshop.com/
all that gear and you still cant fish a lick, sad really sad
i don't have pics of my combos, but this is a list of what i use
Curado 5:1 on Kistler cranking stick
Curado 7:1 on St Croix rod
Chronarch MG50 on Kistler rod
Johnny Morris reel on Johnny Morris Rod

Quoteall that gear and you still cant fish a lick, sad really sad
Maybe someday I will be able to catch big fish like laine does! ;D
;D i think mine was bigger
This more like what i usually catch...
man, how did we get so far off topic!
Lets see some sweet rods and reels!
Dude, sweet combos. I like that you have mixed it up rather than sticking to one brand. That is my approach to gear too. Why not??
But, don't see a Loomis anywhere. I'd probably get a high end rod for your Ito..
Loomis, Steez, Megabass, oh my.

It has both. The grip you hold is cork, and the rear grip is foam. Did you also notice the jade reel seat? Very cool.. 8-)

I just sold a pair of those Team Daiwa Advantage reels. One high speed and the other a 5.1.
I've never seen those reels before now but they are very sweet, especially for the price. I highly recommend!

Earlier this year I was looking for a cranking reel the same size a 100 Shimano. I had to "settle" for the Advantage 150P. After the first trip out with it I immediately came home and order a 153ST. I am soooooo impressed with this reel. And I am a Shimano guy. I am suprised I haven't heard much talk about it on here.
I love the 153 HST.
I need to buy a couple more before Daiwa discontinues them.
Discontinue??? I just found them : If they do, hopefully they will have a big sale like they did the TDZs.
Are you sure they are going to discontinue them. I am not real familiar with the Daiwa line, but wouldn't that take them out of the mid range market .... ie Shimano Citica
I will try and post this weekend. Boat is not here and I have most of my gear on it.

Probably only a matter of time. BPS doesn't even list the Advantage in their 07 Master Catalog.
truth be told, i like the TDA 153 better than the Citica
Me too
