Got out at daybreak today. Lake was slick calm. Pulled out the booyah on my froggin rig. Nothing for 1/2 hr. I turned my head, and when I looked there had been a relatively small blow- up with no noise. Very subtle . As I pulled up to check I felt pressure moving to the right and then realized it was a heavy fish. Fish never tried to jump .It weighed 7.3 pounds.
Other than the big fish,I caught 5 more on various worms. One was really cool because I caught it on a late 70s vintage
6 inch grape Mann's jelly worm. Day sha vu!!!
Go into your archived pics in "my attachments" in your profile and start deleting them. Had this problem before as well.
I'll try it.
Thanks.

Born and raised in Florida but I won't deny your comment lol
Awesome fish Mike!!!
A lot of my bites have been the same way...hardly feel a thing!!! but...none as big as yours hahahaha...congrats buddy, sounds like a great day of fishing.
Thanks, Hez
Heck of a fish! Seems like the big bass always have the smallest top water strikes. They just sip it in!
Also gotta love those Pad Crashers!
Nice Fatty ~
Congrats

Nice fish Mike!
Good job and very nice fish.
Nice chunk Mike, well done

My biggest frog bass so far ate the thing like a trout sips a dry fly. Frog just disappeared with barely a ripple. Wasn't quite a big as that monster though!
Great looking catch. WTG.
Hawg right there!
Never underestimate the power of the jelly worm!
Yeah. I caught my pb on a Jelly worm. It wouldn't disappoint me in the least to catch a new pb on the frog though.
here piggy! piggy! nice fish ,love it when they hit top water
Lonnie You ever getting back down here?
not for a little while. may be going to lay lake here in a few weeks. me and my cousin talked about possibly making a trip to fla. this fall.
If you do let me know.
will deffinatly do. maybe we could try out some peter t . BBQ!
Got 2 boats and a kayak out back ready to go most any time...
after peter t. bbq of course....
And I thought my 6.25 was good! Nice hawg man! Not getting much action on frogs with big ones here near Mount Dora this time of year. Guess they are staying deep?
Thanks. I personally think they come into shallow water early in the morning and stay til 8-9.
Caught this one at 7 a.m in about 3 feet of water.Only bite on the frog from 6.30 to 8 or so.
I dont have as much confidence in late evening hours.Theyre usually pretty sluggish after a long , hot day.
Nice bass
Nice job Mike. That's a hog for sure.
