Im thinking its in the 6lb class. The way you are holding the fish makes it difficult to really be sure. For instance take a look at my avatar. Then just use the belly hand to balance the fish a bit closer to the meaty part of her tail. This will display the fish's natural build better.
Nice fish, very healthy.
Looks like a purdy 5 pounder to me. Nice fish!
I would say around four pounds. Nice fish!
Between 3 and 4
Beautiful fish, I'm jelous !
Three and a half to four pounds. Purdy lookin fish.
I guess three to four lbs..nice fish regardless!!
Just over 4#'s. Beautiful fish and some nice looking territory.
<4, probably around 3. Not 6, for sure.
Four lbs.
3.5 - 4lbs
3-4 lbs, either way, it's a very nice fish.
Looks like it's right at 4.
3.75 to 4.25 lbers. Nice fish from a beautiful spot.
I'd say 3-4 lbs.
4+

definitely agree. Might be 4 though, nice fish. Your hands are just too big in perspective to the fish and the length isn't 21-22 inches in my best guestimate. But, while i am commenting on how it is not a 5 pounder, you are basking in the glory of catching fish while i stay at home for my finals.
nice fish. id say a heavy 4. The way your holding it tho it could be a 4 or a 6. It doesnt really give it justice
mmm...I'll guess 4 lbs and maybe some change.
any measurements? I'd say 4#. You could definitely hold it to look like 6# though
I like the color of that fish. That's a pretty area you are fishing too. If your four fingers are about 3 inches across we could be looking at an 18 inch fish which would generally make it under 4 lbs unless she just had a monstrous girth which doesn't appear to be the case here. If your hand is wider than that she could be 20 inches and definitely in the 4 lb range.
im gonna range that within 4 to 5 pounds nice fish
3-3.5 would be my guess, doesnt look like she made 4 yet
That bass looks a little thin so I would guess 4-4.5 lb
Fattened up, 6-7 lbs
Appears 4 to 4.5 and great photo too WTG
Big O

Nice fish !
I dunno.... I'd say it's somewhere between 1, and 13 lbs
Hey I did have 1 little devious thought though....
I bet if somebody posted a nice (lets just say 5lb'ish) fish, but said, "Sorry, I didn't have a scale... Wanna' take a guess" ?
And, with everybody knowing it really is a nice 5lb'ish fish, they all said, "Oh.... maybe 1 or 2 lbs"...... :
.........how long do you think it would take, for the OP to get a scale ? :
For myself, a scale + a back-up or two, and a camera + a back-up, or two, are as critical, and important, as my fishing rods themselves.
Here's my little Pelican case {waterproof, shock proof, dust-proof, heat insulated... I LOVE these things} that goes with me on EVERY fishing trip, without exception. I also carry a couple disposable film cameras in my tackle bag, and two Berkley digital scales. The scale I keep in my Pelican though, is a Salter, which has been certified by the Dept of Weights Measures.
Peace,
Fish
PS, Even more important than everybody else knowing how big your catch was.... Is YOU knowing how big your catch was ! Heck, what if you go out and catch your PB.... and then you can't even count it !!!
20.294 inches and 4.437 pounds...just an approximation
He must not have liked our estimates.

......buy a scale and a ruler... and don't forget to bring it
Peace,

PS, Don't mind me
