Not to mention, the Slammer is produced in a much larger scale making them readily available through multiple retailers or direct. Pats is only on the blackest of the black markets or if you get lucky to be in contact with Pat. Never fished a pats myself, would like to but not willing to spend the black market money on one. If I can get one at retail from Pat direct I'd pay it.

That's not a Pizz. Pizz baits have his "P" etched in them. Riot Cranks are already out for ordering fyi. I want one as well however 3:16 posted their gill glide will be released in the near future (not sure of how near that is) so everything is on hold right now..lol.

Specs on the 316 Gill? I dont know exactly but I believe its a 6" around 2-2.5oz. I'll look for them. If you meant Riot specs ,he has them on his site.

To be honest Jeff I'm not even sure it was a legit posting. Mickey is notorious for showing off stuff and I'm not quite sure he was being serious about a release. guys who have that bait said it may stay exclusive forever and others say a couple years of testing. so i really dont know what to think. one can only hope...

Serious question: Do you guys actually fish them? I'd have trouble throwing a bait that's worth over $300. But I do use $100 lures for tuna but that's a different ballgame.

Absolutely. Some guys do collect them, but a majority fish them. The Pat's is a topwater (for the most part). Paired with heavy equipment, it's pretty difficult to lose one.

Well then I will be waiting a little while more I guess. The only reason he let me order 5 was because he found 2 emails of mine from almost 2 yrs ago lol. So even though it was a lot of money I figured I better grab them. A cpl of the guides on Fork use them and do really well because of the amount of big Gizzard shad we have.
