Just wanting to see if I can find a better deal on here for a jig rod before the BPS fishing classic starts. Looking for something like a 7'-7'3 MH Fast or Extra fast rod. Im hoping to stay $150 or less but spending more is tempting. Rods I have looked at in store:
Diawa Tatula
St. Croix Rage and Legend Tournament Bass
Shimano Crucial
All offers are appreciated. Thanks!

Did you see this?

No I didn't thanks for the idea! The crucial felt a little tip heavy when I had my T3 ballistic on it, I wasn't a huge fan, but that is a really good deal. For now I'm going to hold out and see what offers I get.
I have a brand new with tags in clear plastic 7' MH fast action Abu Veritas shipped straight from Pure Fishing. It is the micro guide one. I love this model for jigging, much more than my iROD Genesis II 7'4" MH fast. I like the iROD itself better, but just the length is more comfortable for me. I'm just suggesting you look for a 7' opposed to as 7'3". I'll sell the Veritas for $70 plus shipping.
Im open to lengths, but I have a Veritas as a frog rod, andI love it, but I'd like to try something new. I dont have two of anything lol. Im just one of those people. If that irod was for sale on the other hand.. Thanks for the offer!
Well if you change your mind... Sorry, the Genesis is staying with me !
I have a Powell swim jig rod I would like to sell. I believe e it is 7'2"
Have you checked out temple fork outfitters? It is a well balanced light rod although a bit softer than others. For $150 though it may fit your needs. I do own the 7'3'' mh but I use it for lighter wired jigs and a few other applications.
Which Powell? Could you send me the specs if you dont mind.On 1/31/2014 at 2:20 AM, Smallie Hunter said:I have a Powell swim jig rod I would like to sell. I believe e it is 7'2"

70 + shipping would be over 100..
Michigan, check online for a daiwa tatula. You can get them for under 110.
I've got a Daiwa Zillion 6'9" MH/XF rod rated for 1/4 - 1 oz. it's a great rod for feel techniques, including jigs.
$140 shipped
Haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet guys. Thanks for all the offers so far. I want to be patient and not just settle for a rod.

I have the exact same one. My question is: why on earth would you want to sell it?!?! My favorite rod I have.
It is actually not my rod it is my fishing partners rod. and he has joined another company
Any way you could tell me how it balances or how sensitive it is compared to other brands you have handled? On 2/1/2014 at 3:32 AM, bassin227 said:It is actually not my rod it is my fishing partners rod. and he has joined another company
125.00 shipped
when paired with the right reel it balances extremely well! As for as the sensitivity goes I have tried a lot of different rods between veritas all the way to loomis and I have to say that this rod has some great sensitivity and let me feel bites when other rods had not done so. That is just my personal opinion. I have used this 7'4 in particular and it is a great rod for cover all types of jigs between flippin to swim jig to football

x2. this rod is amazing. you can use it for flipping and it also casts a country mile so feel free to tie a spinnerbait on too. i have the 723 endurance and 733 max=both awesome. this is the red TW swim jig version. you will be in heaven and won't find a better deal. the tip and rod are so light you barely know it's in ur hand.
