Not really man, even if it was brand spanking new with tags and everything. The rod being scratched drops the value, and it doesn't help that you can buy a brand new type r for well under $150 NIB (With a warranty)

I've got a big bear custom spinning rod. 6'9 it's 3/4 between a medium and medium light power with a fast action. It's paired with a brand new president spinning reel spooked with 832 braid line that hasn't been used.
The rod has light use on it I used it a hand full of time. It's got micro guides also. I paid 200 for it. Check out their rids their awesom. I could throw in 50 because the reel is good but was only 70 bucks b

Just curious, would you accept a 7'0 MH Okuma C3-40X and a Pluefger supreme reel spooled with 100 yard of braid for your combo? All the gear is under a year old, and has no scratches or the like on it. All speculation right now. Just wondering.
