This net is amazing. Hand made with excellent quality and the weights hit the ground fast so fish can not escape. It even comes with extra string and a little tool incase it needs repairs. My1st day using it I filled my 5gal bucket in just 3 tosses. Now all my coworkers/fishing buddies are all jealous and want one too.so do not let this net pass you by. You can thank me later :)

Works pretty good. Wish the netting was more durable. While casting in Lake it gets caught up on brush easily and then need repairing. Other than that it's great. Just remember in most USA states you can't use it to catch sport fish only bait fish

I got this after my last cast net broke. I wanted to find something more durable and this net was perfect. In fact, on a terrible throw I got the net stuck in rocks and branches. It came out without a tear at all. It also sinks well and I got around 50 shad on the day I was testing it. If something is somehow able to break it, it comes with a repair kit.

Love this casting net! It's nice and strong and sturdy! I'm still getting the hang of how to throw it out there... but it takes practice! I really have nothing to complain about... it does the job! It has some nice weights on it and it doesn't get tangled up at all! The netting only has small gaps... so you can easily catch smaller bait and they won't slip through the holes. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a casting net!

UPDATE: after investigating a mono knot simply came loose. All of the knots were not tightened. I'm certain this was simply a rare "quality control" miss. I tightened all the knots myself and it feels very secure now. Works great and cannot beat this net for the price.

This was working great, then I saw a loose monofilament (think there's 8 - 10?) after only about 10 practice throws into my pool. Well, one bad mono line I thought, it still "closes"... then another cast and another came loose.
This could be just "a bad one" but I checked the other mono knots and they are also coming loose.
Poor craftsmanship or poor quality control... not sure. I can fix this because I have small pliers and a crimping set. I'm leaving for vacation in a couple days or I would return this.
