Answer: Hello yes this dehydrator rack will fit for the instant pot duo crisp air fryer.
Q:
No info on times ! Has to be different for fruits than meats. Length of time has to differ also. Could use the help, thank you ????
Answer: This is just the rack to dry things on! It would all depend on what kind of dehydrator you own and so many other factors. You would need to consult the manufacturer of your dryer for that kind of information or buy a book for help with dehydrating in general for that type of information
Answer: The rack did not come with any cooking times. And I’m guessing it would vary with different air fryers. I love this little rack. Easy to use and easy to clean.
Answer: I looked a lot of that up on Pinterest or other web sites.
Q:
Does this work with the Mealthy lid as well?
Answer: My best guess is yes. I didn’t know what a Mealthy lid was. After I looked it up, it seems to sit on top of a 6 or 8 qt. Pressure cooker. The rack fits perfectly, with some room to spare, in my 6 qt. Instapot.
Answer: Yes this should work with the mealthy lid as well if it goes with the instant pot 6 qt or larger
Answer: I had
Answer: it should as long as it fits inside the liner needed for operating the pot
Q:
It's not clear if this would fit in an 8 qt instant pot. please let me know if this would fit in an 8qt instant pot?
Answer: Hello, yes this dehydrator rack will fit inside an 8 qt instant pot

Answer: Yes, the dehydrating rack will fit in both the 6qt and 8qt liner pots

Q:

Answer: Hello, the dehydrator rack is also safe for pressure cooking made since it is made of all stainless steel
Answer: Mine is a 6 quart
Q:
can you fry wings with this ?
Answer: Yes you can use this as an air fryer rack and fry wings as well
Q:
What size is it for 8 qt? Does it work for Ninja Foodi 8 qt?
Answer: If it fits a 6 quart it’ll fit your 8 quart.
Q:
Can this be used to stack chicken breasts to cook in 10qt instant pot? Trying to find way to easily cook a lot of chicken breasts at a time.
Answer: Help, yes can use these racks to separate the chicken breast and cook it in the Instant pot as long as the Height is greater than 5.7 inches so the rack can fit inside the lid cover.
Answer: Depending how big (thick) the chicken breasts are you would have to take two of the racks out leaving three racks to cook chicken on. Assuming you can get two breasts on each rack, that would be 6 at a time. Hope this helps. I have a 6 quart instapot. So you might find a larger simular rack.
Answer: I doubt it. Read the measurements, it's quit small. It is not very stable at all.
Q:
Can it be used in pressure cooker mode?
Answer: Interesting question, I would say yes...but keep in mind pressure cooking requires a liquid for the pressure. There may be several ways using the top racks for food that you just want to cook. Such as chicken tenders, shrimp...etc. I haven't tried it yet for pressure cooking and am not sure it will work because the racks are not very securely balanced.
Answer: Yes this can be used in the pressure cooker too
Answer: I think so, because the rack size is small enough to allow the pressure cook modes.
Q:
Can I air fry food on this rack?
Answer: Hello, yes you definitely can. This can be used as an air fryer rack or a dehydrator rack.
Answer: I have had this only two days. So far I have made beef jerky and fried bacon on it. Also I cooked a hot dog (wrapped in foil).
Answer: Yes. It seems to work well and is easier to remove to flip things halfway through cooking.
Q:
Is each rack removable?
Answer: Yes, racks are removable and easy to clean.
Answer: Hello yes each rack is removable except the bottom one.
Q:
Can this potentially be used as tiers for silicone cupcake molds / french fries / egg cups? Are the tiers fairly strong and sturdy?
Answer:
Answer: Tiers aren't the most well balanced. But with proper arrangement you can do cupcake molds, egg cups, and French fries. I used mine for shrimp and chicken tenders. I used 2 forks to grab the handles of the rack and set the rack on a tray or foil. You can adjust the number of racks for size of food to allow for turning the food. However. The racks could be a bit cumbersome as they can't be easily removed with the food on them. Racks are normally hot and the way the baskets attach to the rack doesn't make it the easiest to work with.
Answer: They fit a 6 quart pressure cooker and naturally an 8 quart.
Answer: No. The dimensions are just a couple of inches between tiers.
Product reviews of Dehydrator Rack for 8 qt Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid, Instant Pot Vortex 10 qt Air Fryer Oven, Compatible Instant Pot Accessories Air Fryer Dehydrator Rack
Dona : Great addition for air fryer usage.
This rack works perfectly in my Ninja Foodie. I adjusted the temperature depending on what’s being dehydrated. Cleanup is a breeze, after removing food I put the racks in my dishwasher and they came out perfect and ready to go. Surprisingly this rack holds quite a bit of produce. Can’t wait for my garden to start producing so I can do even more types of produce.
Jahn Turner : Best rack for the Instant Pot
Well made steel racks are perfect for making jerky. Easy to clean. Very useful.
Amy : Great rack for my Instant Pot
It is very compact to store, easy to put together, and fits perfectly in my 6 quart Instant Pot.
Caro : Dehydrate
I used these to dehydrate bananas. They were easy to use. I wish I could get the right consistency to make crispy chips.
D. Grayson : Instant Pot Dehydration with the Air Fryer Lid
I bought this set of racks to add to the versatility of my 6 quart Instant Pot. I also have a separate dehydrator so have been making jerky for years. These racks fit with millimeters to spare. I tried a combination of fruit and meats separately, researching times and temperatures. The Instant Pot suggests 125F degrees for 6 hours when you turn on the dehydration button, but pork needs to be cooked at 165F for longer periods (to kill all the bugs), while bananas are less temperature for around 6 hours. The pork and beef cooked about 10 hours to get chewy. The bananas were chewy at about 6 hours. Research your times and temps online beforehand for best results.
It took a bit of time to get used to using the racks and installing them with ease. I started with the bottom main holding rack inside the stainless steel pot, but then found that too constricting to use. By the second batch I was just filling and stacking the racks outside the pot and then lifted it all up as one unit after filling and putting it inside. It seemed a lot better to use like this. Cleanup of the racks were in the dishwasher and they only needed a light scrubbing after the meat jerkies.
Are they worth the $20 that I paid? Yes. But due to the size of the Instant Pot, they do not make as much jerky as my separate dehydrator, but they are easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to store...and makes the Instant Pot even more versatile.
J. malone : This one is made right
I have had an instant pot for a few years now and always wanted to try the dehydrator part of it. I could never find an insert that was made well. Search the products out there and you will see what I mean. Most of them were received dented. I have purchased a few Hartigo products before and trusted their quality so when I heard they now make a dehydrator rack I jumped on it. However, I was skeptical still :-). The package arrived quickly and when I pulled out the insert, I knew it was different. These are made with excellent materials and are very sturdy. I did find it hard to stack food in the racks but I think this was my fault. I think I got excited and added too many items the first time. As you can see from the video the dehydrator function on the instant pot is quiet. Most dehydrators are so clunky and noisy. The rack performed well and cleaned up nicely. I am using these dehydrated oranges for afternoon tea and then evening old fashioneds. The next round is going to be sweet potatoes for my dog and plantains for us. This is a winner for me.
Sara B. : Flimsy
Says it’s for the 6qt or 8qt but really just for the 6 because it’s flimsy and the whole thing leans to the side. Needs to be supported by the walls of the instant pot insert. The quality is poor and it appears much larger in the pictured image. Unless you’re using mini vegetables there’s no way you can fit as much as in the picture
kamoon : I didn’t know I needed this!
Another fantastic product from Hatrigo! I had never dehydrated anything before and this product made it so easy. I started with pineapple and moved on to citrus fruits and apples. Worked like a dream, and fit in my Pampered Chef deluxe air fryer perfectly. Can’t wait to try my hand at making beef jerky. Clean up was easy too! Highly recommend, would buy again.
MannersMatter : Very fussy to assemble. Poor ease-of-use
I had high hopes for this device, but I never got to use it. I have a good dexterity, however, assembling this dehydrator rack was just too fussy for my level of patience. It did fit properly in my 6 quart Instapot, but I cannot imagine actually try to use the thing. It’s a HEADACHE waiting to happen. I wish I could give a zero for the ease-of-use.
JoAnna : High quality
The trays are great quality. Not flimsy at all. They fit in the rack well. Easy to assemble. Love that they come apart so can be placed in the dishwasher as by hand cleaning is more challenging. I used in my air fryer at 130 degrees for 4 hours with an apple and a banana. The results are delish.
Thomas Dildine : Adequate
It’s very hard to clean because food sticks to it.
P. M. Green : FINALLY!! I can dehydrate efficiently and easily.
I love this handy multi-layer Hatrigo rack for my Instant Pot and new versatile IP lid for dehydrating. The racks are detachable so they're easy to load and unload and the frame collapses for easy storage. I've always dreamed of being able to preserve fresh fruits and veggies with canning or freezing. This rack accommodates all kinds of dryable fruits and veggies and it all fits into the inner pot of my IP. This is only day 2 of my drying and I haven't even started on the mushrooms, carrots, onions, etc that I have planned.
Carron Helberg : Good accessory!
Just what I was looking for!!

Lee Ann Clark : It fits in the instant vortex.
Hatrigo always makes quality items. I could not figure out how it stores itself. So I think it needs a storage container. The rack itself is wonderful
Carron Helberg : Good accessory!
Just what I was looking for!!
Jo A. Kergan : Great 5 tier rack for Instapot!
I bought this dehydrator rack to make beef jerky in my instapot air fryer. I used it immediate to make bacon. It was perfect. I am certain I’ll find many uses for it. It was easy to set up and easy to clean. I need to figure out an easy way to rotate the racks while things are hot. This won’t be an issue when dehydrating at a low temperature. I recommend this product.
Big Leo : Well-made/
Haven't had time to use yet but appears well-made. Would recommend to everyone.
Melanie Gill : Great for Yedi!
Fits perfectly in the Yedi 6qt!

nkh1027 : Highly recommended
I used this dehydrator rack in my air fryer to dehydrate apples. They turned out perfect! I then used it to dehydrate bananas and they did not. (Not the rack’s fault, of course). I plan to try oranges next. The racks are easy to clean and the possibilities are endless!
sheri gullick : Awesome purchase
This was bought to dry fruit and make jerky. Very easy to put together and clean.

J Z : Good thing in a small package
What do I need a dehydrator for? And the bigger question: Where the heck would I put it?
Well, for the first question: Here are a few times when I've wished I had one:
- Got a big bunch of fresh herbs (like cilantro) for a recipe that only calls for a pinch. What do I do with the rest of it before it goes bad. (A dehydrator would give me options.)
- Picked up a ton of fruit at the farmer's market. But I can't use it all before it goes bad. (Do you see a theme here?)
- Low-carb crunchy snacks?
- Maybe fresh-made dog biscuits without any mystery ingredients?
- New flavor combos (I'm betting dried rhubarb chips could be interesting in the summer).
But I have no space for yet another kitchen appliance, no matter how intriguing. But I took a chance on this one. And I was happy to see how small the package it arrived in was. (That's a petite remote in the photo.) Setup took all of 30 seconds, and taking it apart for storage is just as quick. And while it's made for my Instant Pot, it also fits in my Insignia Air Fryer/Convection Cooker.
And that's probably where I'll use it the most -- I've found that the shelves in the Air Fryer need more ventiliation for the kinds of food I cook (veggies mostly), and this fits the bill perfectly. And I can use all 5 shelves or remove a couple if I need more height between shelves.
Only downside: No instruction sheet or website for recipe ideas. But Google has plenty of ideas to sift through.....
Billy Adams : Wonderful product
Works great
Devochkassevera : you need this thing
my favorite shelf in a 6-quart instant pot ... you can use all the shelves at once for example for dehydration apples, bananas, or just 2 to make grilled salmon.
Rhonda P : perfect
Perfect, easy to assemble. Just what I wanted.
magda : Rather cheaply made
No instructions, barely holds together. Would not buy again
Christine E. McReynolds : Fits in 6 qt instant pot
Fast quick arrival.

Cathy Donaldson : A Hatrigo quality dehydrator that easy to use and clean with air fryer lids and air fryer ovens..
Another Hatrigo quality product, love this dehydrator. I dehydrated cilantro, oranges, lemons, made dehydrated beef jerky, and Baby Bella mushrooms. It has been fun trying so many different food types. Easy to assemble and clean. I used my 6 quart Instant Pot and Instant Pot Air Fryer lid, as well as I tried it in my Power Air Fryer Oven on dehydrate. Both fit and works well with this rack. I highly recommend this quality dehydrator and look forward to dehydrating many more things. Love it.
