Answer: The net folds up around the noodles that keep it afloat. So I’m not sure how small you need it but I can roll it up and stick in seat storage on my boat.

Is this a net bag and what are the dimensions?

Answer: Defiantly not for netting fish.....it is velcroed shut so netting a fish would be difficult. It keeps your fish alive longer than a stringer. I use mine during tournaments to cull out the smaller trout so they are still very much alive when released.

These bags work pretty well but durability is poor. After 2 season the webbing that holds the d rings and the webbing used for the handles dry rotted and ripped part with little force. While,pulling the bag into the boat the handles broke off.

For saltwater anglers this rot will happen faster. Also the metal clasp will corrode and will not open or close. The bags works but really wish there were other options like this on the market. Foreverlast is the only bag I found in this size to use while wade fishing. The webbing used is an inferior quality. When I complained to Foreverlast they said they have made a change in materials but the new bags look the same as the early bags. Don’t expect For-Never-last to standby their product either.

The bags worked great the first season. By season two the webbing simply was falling apart. For the cost it should be a better product with a longer lifespan. The poor quality of material is why I rated it 1 star. If it was more durable and Foreverlast would have stood behind their product I would rate a 5.

Really impressed with the bag's ability to keep sharks off the fish. Last weekend I used it on the 2nd sandbar in the surf down here. I had at least 4 different small sharks circling and nosing into the bag trying to get at my trout and they'd turn away when the nose touched the mesh. Guy I was fishing with put his first trout on a stringer and it immediately got chomped so he started putting his fish in my bag. We finished with 10 trout in the bag after sharks swarmed if for about 2 hours with no bites and all 10 fish were alive and seemed healthy when we left.

Very impressed with this so far. We use it to keep minnows at the dock of a private fishing pond. I must admit I was a little surprised at first, expecting it to be 5 gallon sized. Actually, it's just small enough to easily fit within a 5 gallon pail.

The fit and finish is excellent and has impressed several family members who've used it so far. The Velcro cover allow for easy access to the bait and the whole thing collapses down nicely when not in use.

One other benefit is the Velcro straps on the carry handle. To keep the bait healthy, I also purchased a 2.5W solar fountain aerator with two air stones. I run the two hoses through the Velcro straps on the handle and into the bag, with the air stones on the bottom. The bait has never stayed so active and healthy... until needed that is.
