Answer: Yes, this Magreel fillet knife comes with a 2-Stage Grindstone. Thanks!

Answer: Grindstone no. Sharpener yes. As matter of fact a dual side or "grit" drag thru type that does a very nice job with only a few light strokes. Just what you need if fileting several fish. Keeps the edge in shape. Has carbide steel V on one side and ceramic sticks on the other.

Answer: Mine came with a double-sided, pull-though sharpener that does a good job.

Is the knife dishwasher safe

Answer: No. Do not put any non serrated blades in the dishwasher. Ever. The dishwasher detergent has abrasive in them to clean dishes and will ruin blades

Nice, has a nice flex of the blade when cleaning a fish. Blade is sharp, which helps immensely fileting several fish. Handle feels soft but grabs the hand for solid grip. Like it so much I bought another. No fooling I bought another.

Tuscobian : Magreel Premium 9 Inch Filet/Boning Knife

I started fishing a lot more this year and I found Magreel's 9-inch filet/boning knife to do the job I needed it to. First time out of the box I noticed that I came sharp and hand a grippy rubber handle that made gutting slippery fish easy. I wanted a knife that could flex and come back to true and this knife does just that. The knife is lightweight and is easy to wield. My hand does not fatigue when using this knife compared to others. It is durable too. When I hit bone the knife is able to stay sharp and not tear away at the flesh like other knives I have used. Additionally, I like to have a lanyard on my hand when I am boning out fish and the loop on the butt end of the knife how a large lanyard loop perfect for just that. For the money, this knife is perfect for someone on a budget and looking for a great knife to do the work they need. I don't see myself needing to sharpen the knife often but it did come with a sharpening stone. Very happy and pleased with it. I will definitely be using more Magreel products in the future.
