Packs up great, works great for catching small fish and crawfish. Works great with some weights in it to help get it to the bottom.

This is very lightweight and is very sturdy. My husband loves catching fish, minnows and crawdads in it! And is is durable!

Throw it in the water and just wait, before too long there will be all kinds of critters in your net. Great for fresh and FREE bait for fishing but my grandson just loves seeing what will show up in the net. Easy to use and well constructed. I felt it was a good value.

Looks well like the picture. Except mines came with damage. The net had Tearing in some parts.

Rob Lee : An umbrella lined with fishnet and 9 holes. Neat concept

This trap is a lot larger than I thought it would be and it’s a pretty neat concept. You pull a bunch of strings through the top and the umbrella opens up and it snaps itself into place once you pull the cord to latch above a point. The color is a dark green which would deter fish as much as other colors. The eight holes on the perimeter is where the fish come in and the hole on the bottom is where you let the bait out after use(pretty easy to clean). Just make sure that you tie the bottom hole before you put your bait in. The problem I find with this trap is that the holes kind of have too much slack on them and end up being like a limp sleeve so when fish try to swim in, they will get claustrophobic when they net is so thin and it rubs against their bodies. I am contemplating cutting these inlets shorter to prevent that, but I caught a couple of minnows so far so no biggie. It served its purpose because the tiny fish I caught were used as bait for bigger fish and overall, it works. I’ll update if I have more success. No giant schools of fish yet.

Netting ripped after 1 use. Waste of money

Antman : Hard to get your catches out of the trap, no zipper

The opening to get your catch out is at the bottom in the middlem it has extra netting that hangs down I would use as a bait bag and tie it shut, which made it difficult to open back up to retrieve your catch. Don't leave unattended either, turtles can get in this trap and will die b/c they can not surface to get air.

This foldable net is made with quality material and packaged really well. I like that it is versatile for multiple types of bait.
