SAN LIKE Fly Fishing Landing Net

We had to transfer a few of or Koi fish from a large indoor tank into an outdoor pond. This net was large enough to accommodate the large koi fish. The handle folds flat and makes it easy to store. The net is coated in some type of rubber material that allows it to dry quickly after use. The folding handle is surprisingly sturdy and it is really easy to fold. After using this for a few months now, we are very happy with the quality of this fishing net.

My son loves to go fishing at the local ponds, rivers and lakes. While he doesn't really need, need a net, I've noticed that it would definitely come in handy when bringing a few of them in. Since the fish he catches stay under 2-3 lbs, we didn't need anything super robust, but I didn't want it to break at the slightest strain, either. This net was exactly right. The opening is very large as is the net itself, offering plenty of catch space and room to work with. The net is coated with a type of plastic/rubber, which makes it dry quickly. The seams are well sewn, and hold the weight well.

The handle is short but very adequate. It folds down for storage reason but flips and locks into position easily. The handle can easily hold what my son catches, although I wouldn't use it for large fish, since I could see it bending. There's also a string on the end of the handle, which can be used for hanging the net or tightening it around the wrist so it doesn't fly away. A metal clip on the net also makes it easy to clip onto a pack.

It's a nice net, he enjoys it, and we're satisfied.

I purchase this fishing net for my son and he loves it.He isn’t avid fisherman and this is the perfect net for him.He had a regular cloth net which his hooks would get caught on and he was frustrated by that.I found this rubber net and he is over the top happy.He and I definitely recommend this purchase

This is an excellent net for small fish (under 5 pounds). It has a lax-like aluminum handle that is attached to a large net. I like the net design with its flat (not cylindrical vase). The net handle folds up and, while this is a handy feature, it limits the amount of weight that the net can manage without stress.

This freaking net hauls ass! I ain't kidding. You'll be the coolest cat on the water hauling pigs out with this bad boy! Belt clip is sweet. Extendo handle is super helpful for off the bank fly rodding and floating in a boat. You will be shocked at the quality as compared to the price point. Buy this net.

J. Stroh : A good basic start out net for fly fishing.

This net is okay but was a bit disappointed that the frame seems to bend somewhat when a fish is put into it. The netting is fine and is well made and doesn't snap at all. But the frame seems a bit flimsy. It's okay for 3 to 5 pound fish but anything weighing more than that seems to make the frame bend. I have a net that I have been using for several years and it does not bend like this one. Will probably give this to my grandson as it is a good start out net.

Love this! I actually got this to catch chickens ... sometimes when my babies are young and I am introducing them to the big coop, they do not go in on their own and I need to catch them and put them in. My old net was worn out. This is perfect. It adjusts to have a long or short handle. The net folds back to the handle for storage. The net itself is well made and seems to be waxed. The quality is way better then the last net I had. I think this one will last longer. Not at all flimsy. Very impressed, exceeded my expectations. No regrets.

Much easier to maneuver underwater than the thicker heavier rubber net I used last year. Holds up very well. Good construction on the handle and the rubberized netting is very sturdy. Long enough handle without the need for an extending one, but not too big that it gets in the way. Much better than my old nylon mesh net. Never use another string net again. Spend more time fishing and less time getting the hook out of string.

I like this net because it folds, but I don't know if because it folds it will be weaker then another net. So far it has held up, but we haven't put anything heavy in it. The actual net piece seems like it will be durable.

I think this is a great design for a folding net. It opens and closes pretty easily. I think this would be perfect for light fish but can not see this working out for a heavy fish.

The netting is good, and it is a nice size. I like that the handle telescopes. It folds up and won't take up too much room. It just feels like it might break if I tried to use it on a bigger fish.

Very lightweight! But doesn't feel cheap, a little less so at the folding elbow but once locked up it feels good and solid. Great belt loop to easily clip and stays put pretty well, really nice machined hook. The net is a nice rubberized finish, it did have a bit of a chemical smell to it but nothing an airing out won't handle.

Great simple carry net for a quick excursion. Very portable.

This trout/bass net already has 131 reviews so I don't know what I could say about it that would be unique. I think it's pretty well made and seems sturdy. It's easy to unfold and fold back and the grip feels good in my hand. I don't know how long the rubbery netting will last though. Hubs has a fishnet gizmo similar to this one except it's about 40 years old and the nylon net is still good, as well as the aluminum frame. So, my only concern would be if you kept this for years would the net eventually dry rot away? No way of telling that but it seems like a material that would. I guess you could get a replacement net.

The only complaint I have is the description of this item or items. as there are 2 different nets but they seem to have the photos for both nets on both of the items. Are you confused yet? I was... because I must've ordered the shorter one. Then I sent it back and got the right one which is the one that extends to 41 inches. The net is outstanding, it's lightweight, it folds away, and it floats!! The net is a light rubber, and soft, the fish love it! There's a little metal hook so you can hang it on your belt and it looks great! Haha!

So far been a great net. I use it wade fishing and on drift boat. I have landed large trout above 20 inches and some solid bass with no issues. I like it folds up so I can carry on back with magnet. It's easy to reach back and flip it open when needed. I do feel the hinge will be the week point but it hasn't given me any issues.

This landing net is well made. The seams on the net are double stitched. The net is lightweight and is easy to carry. It has a belt clip and also a cord on the end of the handle with a toggle for tightening. The handle is the perfect length for landing your catch. This is a great, lightweight fishing net.

The rubber coating on the netting should keep the fish's natural slime coating intact.

The net is quite large and the netting itself, very strong. You can get the fish straight off the line and into the net and keep it there and measure it and release.

In my opinion, it can be used for more than for bass and trout.

It seems good for saltwater fishing. I can see getting the fish in the net for measuring on a boat as well.

It's convenient because it folds and it's light, making it easy to take along.

This is a good net. I really wasn't expecting much for the price, but it seems sturdy and durable. The netting is strong enough to hold a good sized fish and the holes are small enough to hold tiny fish. I ordered this for my kids to scoop up fish from the dock in our pond, and it's perfect for that. The pole telescopes to get a little bit of extra reach. It folds down flat for storage.

I like this net. The handle clicks into place and stays put until you release it. (Not the case with a previously tried net). The netting is silicone or soft rubber, which is relatively easy on the fish. This is a boon for those who practice catch and release (and for the fish!). The net size is ample for most freshwater species. The only thing I might change would be to make the handle longer, although there are benefits of a short handle.
