Is this cart designed to break down for tansport?

Answer: The wheels and handle come off. It all fits inside the cart. I fit it in my Prius with luggage no problem. I love the thing it make going to the pier easy.

Answer: I do not know the wheel dimensions. I do know that it works great on piers, jetties, and sidewalks.

What is the inside dimension of this cart, width, height and height? My cooler width is approx 14".

Is the front wheel removable?

Answer: yes, the front wheel is removable. The square tubing that the wheel is mounted on, slides inside a larger tubing and align the holes up and slide a pin through the holes. The height can be adjusted depending on which hole you put the pin into.

Does the front wheel keep the cart in place while in soft sand? I've noticed most other carts have a upside T shaped base instead so I'm a bit curious

Answer: Rolling is not an issue in loose sand. On packed sand or hard surfaces the wheel has a lock you can engage.

Answer: In sand yes, on hard pack I lock the wheel and point wheel uphill, happy with my cart

Answer: I use mine all the time in sand and on dirt, works like a champ.

How well does it work on semi-rocky paths?

Answer: It does work fine as long as the rocks are not too big as there is not much clearance from the bottom of the frame. Larger protruding rock could hit the underside. The tire wheel diameter is 12 inches and accounting for the axle, that would leave about 5 inches of clearance. We love ours. Great for hauling things to the beach. Works great on sand and hard surfaces. An inside liner would help so things do not fall out.

Answer: I bought this for my wife. She only uses it to go fishing out on the piers in our area. Has pulled it through light sand but not on rocky paths. She loves it. Sorry not much help.

Answer: I don't see why not. I actually use bungee cords and strap it on to the back of my GEM that is an electric car that tops out at 25 MPH.

Does anyone know if you can buy that bait basket/cutting board separately? I cannot find it anywhere.

Answer: Shortly after buying my Fish-N-Mate, I mount a Farberware 12" x 18" poly cutting board over my cutting surface using 2 #8 x 1" screws and 2 wing nuts. I've had this for several years on my pier buggy and it's easy to take off and wash. I'll have to mount another soon, depends on usage. I cover up the scape basket when I do this but I and my wife use kitchen scrape bags and a couple of large stainless bull dog document clips to hold the bag to the cutting board. Hope this helps.

Answer: The inside demension is 14.25" x 34.25". The width outside of the tires is 27". Our truck has an 8' bed and this fits easily between the fifth-wheel hitch and the tailgate.

Answer: The tires have a diameter of about 10 inches. They are inflatable and do roll well in soft sand. This cart was a little more expensive than other carts I looked at but I have had it for a few years now and I am very happy with my purchase.

The square hole was damaged. I have to get a person to open the hoke so i can insert the handle. Can i return this cart?

Answer: If you received the cart damage I would suggest, take pictures of the box, packing, and damage.

What are the internal dimensions. Is their room for a cooler and a 5 gallon bucket?

Answer: 14 3/8" x 34 1/2". I use a 5 gallon bucket which leaves room for a small cooler of about 24 inches long. Watch the corners though since each is rounded which will reduce the size of the cooler. An empty 5 gallon bucket can hang from the handle.

Answer: We fit a chair, a 5 gallon bucket aNd a couple of small coolers. Also some beach bags. We are very happy with it.

How does this cart roll in soft sand?

Answer: It rolls great! I loaded mine down with a cooler and tackle and while it rolls easier on packed sand I had no issues across the dry sand. The air filled tires are wide enough to carry the load.

Answer: This was a gift for my brother, who is an avid fisherman. He was very happy with how it rolls through sand and along the dock.

Does anyone know if there is an adapter for a bike hitch or has anyone modified it to tow with a bike?

Answer: I actually found the bike hitch on Amazon but it is kind of expensive for what you get. The description is "Anglers 358 Aluminum Bike Hitch for Fish-N-Mate Carts" but they are asking $84.55 for it. I think I may head to the hardware store and attempt to build the hitch myself.

Answer: I haven't seen an adapter but I was thinking of trying the same thing with my bike. The cart is strong but light weight and could easily be towed behind a bike. I am going to do some more research to see if I can find a bike hitch since that would solve a number of parking issues I have at a number of places I like to fish.

Answer: No I hand not. I don't think it can be done with out modification.

Answer: I don’t have access to the cart right now, but I can tell you that it does well in beach sand.

Answer: Do not know where to but a new one however you might want to try an Auto repair place that sells and installs tires. Since the rim appears to be a very hard plastic maybe they can install a tube to keep it sealed assuming your old tire is not complete shot.

Answer: Yes it is included and comes in handy. It is also easy to remove and leave at home for days that you don't plan on using any cut bait. This is a strong yet fairly light weight cart that has worked out very well for me. Keep those lines tight and good luck with the big one!
