The blade is sharp and it seems to be sturdy. The handle feels long at first, but it actually balances very nicely when the blade is extended and ready to use. This knife folds down to less than half the size of my Bubba blade so I’ll probably take this filet knife with me on my kayak and leave the Bubba for use at home.

No need for pictures item came just as pictured in advertisement. On second note I didn't buy this knife for fileting fish. I bought it for self protection. It fits slimy into my pocket is light weight and a blade that can allow for intimidation to be a factor in self defense encounters. It's sharp could be sharper but that's perspective it cuts and continues to cutting straight out of the box. Good knife great price would buy again but as long as I don't lose it I won't have to cause it's that good.

This is a excellent working folding filet knife. The grip is very ergonomic for my big hands and the blade was adequately sharp, not bent and with a little work is very sharp and holds an edge. I boned out a smoked picnic ham (pork fat greasy)with little effort and the blade flexed as expected. I’m sure this will make salmon processing a breeze. The sheath fits the knife well on the belt and hip.

If they had made a decent holster for it. They would have a bestseller , I'm telling you. The knife is Fantastic. Great for fishing or hunting . It's solid as a rock . Love mine !!!! This knife was so poorly ground that it’s edge was nonexistent. The effort it would take to properly sharpen it outweighs the effort needed to return it. As one reviewer said, “I have butter knives sharper than this knife.”

LSire : Bent blade

It’s hard to see the bend in the photo but the blade came bent, and it wasn’t ground evenly on both sides. It’s not very sharp at all, from the reviews that I’ve seen so far, people have had nothing but good things to say about it.

I can almost get behind them because it’s comfortable, bright, convenient, sturdy, seems to have a decent heat treat( I cannot bend the blade back), they just need a little bit better quality control, to not let a bent blade out of their doors. And to make sure it gets a proper edge put on it, considering it’s supposed to filet fish/game and cut through rib bones and whatnot. Giving 3 stars because everything that makes this a knife I have something to complain about but at least it has a decent Heat treat.

Bought this to just have in my tackle bag. My knife came sharp and isn't flimsy. Have used it a handful of times and does the job like any other fillet knife. Seems well built and would recommend for a compact knife to be part of your tackle.

I forgot that I bought this knife, and I have since lost it, so I have no idea how it cuts fish. The handle is very large (which makes sense because it has to fit the blade), but I'd recommend measuring out 7.5" before ordering and decide if you really want that large of a handle on a fillet knife.

I'll update the review if I ever find the knife, catch a fish, fillet the fish, and remember to update.
