Got the item very fast a few weeks ago, but I wanted to wait to use it and then leave a review.
Yesterday and was finally able to use it on a fish, it was so nice and compact to carry it around, I cut bait with it and then fillet, I was lucky I caught a nice fish and it is so sharp that I could use it to cut thin slices for sashimi. Kastking is on fire with innovative products, can't wait to see what they come up with next.

Very ,Very , nice build. Sturdy . The sheath sucks . But the folding lock blade is EXCELLENT !!!!!! Came sharp , but a little touch up and it's scary sharp. 100% worth every dime paid for it. If they had made a decent holster for it. They would have a bestseller , I'm telling you. The knife is Fantastic. Great for fishing or hunting . It's solid as a rock . Love mine !!!! I'll have to get a leather sheath made for it though. Why do great knives always have crappy sheaths ? Peace

This is a big, clunky knife. The handle is molded to fit bigger hands. The opened length is very long. The blade doesn't offer much flex as a fillet knife should. I expected the blade to be sharper as well. It is heavy in the hand. On the plus side, the belt pouch is a good fit. For the price, it is just okay. It comes beautifully boxed for gifting. I gave it a 3 because of how the knife feels in the hand. I use filet knives a lot in my kitchen. I wanted one to travel.

Very nice fillet knife it’s a stiffer style so if your looking for a more flexible one this may not be the one you want, but has plenty of blade for just about any fish you may catch and very comfortable to use with very good grip, and came almost razor sharp couple swipes on a ceramic rod and could shave with it

The overall construction is excellent and the foldability allows for space saving and keeps the blade safe. Stainless steel hardware and coated blade should allow to handle the harshness of the saltwater fishing environment. I like the feel of the knife especially the textured and curved handle. It fits well in my hand. The blade lock feels secure and safe plus the blade springs closed when folding the blade back in. A durable pouch is included with Velcro closure and a belt loop. The blade is thick but still allows a decent bend to clean fish fillets. I would recommend this fillet knife for anyone who wants a well built compact fillet knife.

This is an AWESOME little folder fillet knife from Kastking. VERY sharp. Good flexibility. Love it. Comes with a neat little "sheath" I guess you could call it. I gotta say, Kastking is one of the best value fishing companies out there. I own polarized glasses, and reels made by Kastking as well. Quality items, look great, work even better.

Razor sharp with perfect edge along whole blade, slight flex as expected for a thin filet knife but very solid at the fold with little flex at the joint. Quality!

Excellent foldable fillet knife. Flexible blade that works great for getting the most meat from the fish. Really good ergonomic design that fits my hand well and it comes with a safety lock to keep the blade from folding while using it. Small enough to fit in my small tackle bag when folded. I highly recommend for all fisherman and campers.

Literally the sharpest knife I’ve ever seen. I have many knives, from cooking to tactical to fishing, and this knife by far is the sharpest right out of the box, that I’ve ever seen. The rubberized grip is a great also, which will help while cleaning fish.

Best filet knife I have ever owned, also the least expensive. It feels great, has just the right amount of flex to filet easily and fits great in a small tackle box. It did get a small amount of rust along the back after exposure to salt water even with thorugh daily rinsing. Can be hard to open.

It’s hard to see the bend in the photo but the blade came bent, and it wasn’t ground evenly on both sides. It’s not very sharp at all, from the reviews that I’ve seen so far, people have had nothing but good things to say about it.
I can almost get behind them because it’s comfortable, bright, convenient, sturdy, seems to have a decent heat treat( I cannot bend the blade back), they just need a little bit better quality control, to not let a bent blade out of their doors. And to make sure it gets a proper edge put on it, considering it’s supposed to filet fish/game and cut through rib bones and whatnot. Giving 3 stars because everything that makes this a knife I have something to complain about but at least it has a decent Heat treat.

This is a great great kinfe.I Love the fact that it folds fits perfectly in my tackle box, also the sheath design can fit on a belt or just slide in your pocket. This is a excellent working folding filet knife. The grip is very ergonomic for my big hands and the blade was adequately sharp, not bent and with a little work is very sharp and holds an edge. I boned out a smoked picnic ham (pork fat greasy)with little effort and the blade flexed as expected. I’m sure this will make salmon processing a breeze. The sheath fits the knife well on the belt and hip.
