Have been using mine for a couple of years. No complaints.

Works like a charm if you understand its limitations. Waves over 1.5 ft forget it...anything else, game on. Perfect for trolling in your classic aluminum walleye boat all the way down to kayak fishing

Hard to use, don’t go read the lines out far enough. Front ball clamp system is not a good setup. Screws come out easy and springs fly out. This is not a good product at all. Very disappointed. Bought 2 sets of them a week ago. Used them twice and two are already unusable due to the screws and springs.

I use on a kayak with trolling motor. Perfect for trolling shallow near shorelines or under over-hanging branches. I usually use small crank-baits.
Note that if you want to troll at deeper depths with larger bait from a bass boat, may want to get a bigger one.
Be aware: One of mine sank, so you may want to add some extra double-sided foam tape.
Really wish they came with a small blinking (~2 sec x 5mS interval) LED so they would be easier to locate when fishing in darker conditions or getting hung on an underwater obstacle.
Note that they come in left/right side versions.

It did fine with monofilament. With 15 lb braid, the bb qwik disconnect didnt hold on. It sank.

These planer boards work perfectly. No trouble at all. Only reason i dont give 5 stars is because they do NOT float. I had to add foam to the top in case of a break off. Otherwise they are perfect and Ive caught lots of fish with them
