jeff patterson : It sank. Braid line is too thin.

It did fine with monofilament. With 15 lb braid, the bb qwik disconnect didnt hold on. It sank.

DJM : Performs well

First time fishing with Planer Boards, a little cumbersome to fool with by yourself especially when using 12 foot rods..
changed to a shorter rod Much better, these particular Mini Boards work best on smooth water, once the wind and chop picked up it was hard to detect the bite.. I'm ordering the larger boards with the tattle flag before I go back again :)
I will say I fished 6 rods, two with planers, I think I caught as many crappie on the planer board rods as all the other 4 combined..
definitely worth a try
