How long is warranty for.

would this be a good scale to set drag correctly?

Answer: We are using it in a manufacturing plant to do measuring on hatch cover tightness. It's pretty accurate and we haven't had any issues with them so far. I don't think you would have a problem setting the drag with one.

Answer: I just used this scale in the Cabelas king kat national championship. Im the type of guy to spend as little money on my gear as possible but try to get top quality use out of it. Im very happy with this scale . Its very sensitive but levels out quickly. My ild scaled had a weird screen delay but this one is quick and dead on in my opinion. I assume that its quick response and accurate weighing ability that it would work well. I have always set my drag just my touch but this makes me think about giving your way a try. Good luck.

For the data hold feature, does it instantly take the measurement or does it have to stabilize at that weight first? would it measure a trigger pull

Answer: It has to stabilize. It only takes a second or so to lock in the weight.
