Answer: No it won't fit any 8mm there is different thread pitch for all nuts and bolts i forgot witch one it was common size, just take it to a hard ware store and lay the two bolts together untill you find the right one . Easy. Best i can do now

Needed a cheap spear for a snake in the chicken coop. Used this with a $5 3/4" x 6' dowel from H.D. and some J.B. Weld epoxy. Drilled a 5/16" hole in the end and backed it in and out a few times to wear threads in the wood. Some electrical tape held in the epoxy and provides some compression for strength. Don't use this for snakes you want to keep alive.
