What is the vacuum suction strength?

Answer: It has two modes, automatic and manual. Emphasis is not great. In automatic mode it senses the strength of the vacuum and stops when it reaches the point where it does not damage the food. Manual is the one that keeps on pumping out the air.

I think it's to replace the one that's in the machine which sits down in the machine surrounding those two flat, tall pieces that stand upwards by the heating piece of metal. The foam sits down in the machine and it might be its replacement foam. That's what I think its for.

Answer: It doesn’t seem to get real hot. Just enough to seal.

I am not able to get this to work Is there a trick to the vacuum/seal ?

Answer: I find that you need to make sure the bag to be sealed is cut clean and straight. Both sides of the outer portion of bag to be sealed is clean and dry. Lay the bag and assure it is flat on the heat element and close door making sure you press on both sides until it clicks. Press the vacuum and seal botton. Should run its cycle completely and auto shut off. Press lock release bottoms and open door. Product should vacuumed sealed.

What accessories do I have to buy this sealing machine? Do you get some sealed bags?

Answer: There are vacuum hose attachments in the package, and some food sealing bags are included. You can start using the product as soon as you receive it, and you don’t need to buy another bag.

Actually wanted this to replace my broken FoodSaver. Skeptical whether it will work as well as my broken one. First tested on Fritos bag as my family eats lots of chips and like it sealed for freshness. It work! Tried sealing my leftover and it sealed well. It work exactly like my broken one but cheaper price. It function like my old one. I love it. Now I just need to get more vacuum bags. Side notes: be sure to press both sides hard until you hear a click. Yes first few tries I fear I will break it but guess that’s how tight it need to be.

This is a great sealer! The key is to get the bag aligned properly. I the opening needs to be in the center of the air reservoir in order to vacuum properly. This gives your food a nice tight wrap to stay fresh; protected from freezer burn. It's a very user-friendly unit also. I appreciate the variety of function options. Automatic for both vacuum and seal, seal only, manual for a slow/pulsing vacuum and a stop/pause if needed to discontinue in the middle of a project. The quality is outstanding. It's easy to clean! Absolutely recommend!

I waited a long time to get a device like this, and now upset I did - I LOVE IT! So easy to store both items in my freezer without the worry about freezer burn. And when I seal cooked food, I can reheat using hot water to serving temp without further cooking in the microwave or stovetop - so leftovers are not dried out or overcooked. I can't compare this particular model with others, but this one is pretty easy to use. The instructions are straightforward. Out of about 20-30 uses, I only flubbed up with once, and it was my mistake (had a wrinkle in the bag where it needed to seal). My only complaint is to lock the device on a bag to seal it takes a fair amount of pressure on both sides and not always clear when they are closed and locked, so sometimes I have to redo to be sure.

Friendly with large family size and purchase in bulk. I randomly selected this vacuum sealer for my daliy uses and it really sruprised me. As a housewife mom I always have to consider the menu for the upcoming week. Before I got this vacuum sealer I spent most of my time in the kitchen. Nowadays I can easily prepare the meal in one time for the whole family. All I need to to is to make the food in semi-finished condition.
