Answer: As many as you can catch. It can hold a bunch of fish. The plastic it’s made of slides easily through mouth/gill and does not twist if pulling behind a kayak

Answer: The cord has a plastic (not rubber) coating that is strong, but is slick enough to allow for easy sliding of fish down the cord. The inner cord could not be identified without cutting it in two.

How to tie it on kayak? It looks pretty stiff.
Answer: It’s no that stiff that you can’t make a loose knot. When wade Fishing I tie it on my belt with a knot. The nylon rope ones work the same way but the knot can draw too tight To travel it has the Velcro stamp that is clipped to my belt. Hope that helps.
Answer: This is the best stringer I've ever used. It's actually a soft flexible plastic, so it's easy to tie. Don't let the fact that it's plastic fool you...this is one tough, strong stringer.

How will this hold up to larger fish? for instance, a 27" redfish.
Answer: These stringers are designed with Trout and Redfish in mind so they will hold up for sure .

Answer: I don't think I would use it for larger fish. Best suited for panfish, IMO.

This does work well, I use it in my kayak. I have noticed that the hard black plastic on the float is coming apart from the float itself and I only used it once but kept it in the kayak with the heat.

I bought this for fishing in the marsh and taking home an keeper once in a while. Not what I expected. I'm not even sure how to really apply it to my uses. Was really hoping for some instructions of how to use it also or some pictures. It can't be complicated, but I'm not sure its intended design. The float is larger than I thought, the rubber tubing is cool but seems large. I still have to wait to use it, but I guess I was just expecting something interesting about it that would apply to wading situations.
Highland Horseman : I liked it but I didn't like it.
I liked it but I didn't like it. I like that the cord is smooth and won't easily damage the fish on the stringer which helps keep them alive until you're ready to head back to camp or home. And the brass spikes are smooth and pointy enough to easily penetrate the skin behind the jaw and exit out the mouth, which is much better than going through the gill. I have a zigzag lock on my kayak that hold the cord in place.
Here's what I didn't like. The cord is 15' long, which I knew from the description, but that is just too much stringer for a 12' kayak or just about anything else other than stand on the shore. The "rubber" cord is infused with ABS plastic which makes it a bit stiffer than pure rubber. The 1/4" cord diameter is overkill for stringing most lake or stream species of fish and adds to the cord being less flexible. The ABS rubber cord has a lot of coil memory retention which means it stays in coils in the water which can interfere with your kayak fishing, even while trolling.
I shortened the cord length by cutting it down to 8'-9' but I couldn't find a stringer stake for sale anywhere. Then I realized that I didn't really need a stake for the float end. Just looping the cord itself back into the float works just fine given that the cord is somewhat stiff anyway. Then I secured one end of the stringer and gently pulled on the cord to stretch it out. Repeated tugging got most of the coil retention out and now I don't store it in a tight coil. A company that makes these things should figure all this out instead of the customer having too. So what could have been a fantastic stringer only gets 3 stars, even though my version is now 5 stars.

Works well. My only concern was trying to attach it to the back of my boat. I ended up tying a small loop in one end(closer to the float) and attaching the velcro and clip piece to the loop and then clipping to the side line on my inflatable.

Living near the gulf i love to catch any fish from speckled trout, flounder, and red fish. This stringer works really well and is quite smooth when putting a fish on it. I really love it and is a must have when I go kayaking.

Works great off the side of my kayak. The metal spike makes it easy to get fish on and the plastic stringer allows the fish to slide on and off with ease. So much easier than the cheap nylon stringers I used in the past.

It doesn’t tangle and has kept my catches alive for over 6 hours. Make sure to put the correct end stake into the float (one is shorter than the other, use the shorter one)

I keep one of these on the top of my tackle bag. It has come in handy several times now. I like it so much that I bought both the 10 and 15 ft versions. Highly recommended. They should last decades if cared for and not left in the sun.
