Hey guys. Me and some friends are holding a tourney, really just a for fun get together.
Looking for a few more people interested. Right now we are looking primarily for boaters. It's an no-gas motor tourney (trolling or paddle only)
You don't need a livewell or anything fancy. Were going to be going by lenght of fish not weight.
Probably asking people to kick in like 10 bucks to cover food, materials and for payout for the winners.
There's gonna be cookout after as well
If your interested or have more questions, PM me.
:'(
count me and the wife in.
Sounds good Nashua Fisherman. PM sent
Hey wagn im in if you find enough boats and have room for someone
thanks
-Matt-
Bassmaster, I'll put you down as a non-boater for now. I'm still organizing who is in what boat. I'll let you know when it's sorted out.
I'll continue to post info as we get closer to july 12th
I'll be up at Wini that week.. I may be in for this..
Here's a sweet video to encourage you to come.
WOOT!!
i might be able to come, but i dont have a boat.
where is the boat launch in goffstown? we checked behing the (lions club)ballpark, the park&rec area, and behind irvine gas. couldnt find it.
There are 2 launches. on on electric street, I think that is is behind the ice area. I don't usually use that one although it is a pretty good ramp.
Also on one Daniels Park rd. It is a little more makeshift but is closer to my folks house to i tend to launch there.

Thats the one I use all the time.BTW the water was real low saturday, also there was a pretty good current also.
A lady who lives on the water said some of the boards on the dam are broken.
I will fish the tourney if there is room.I also have an extra kayak for a boatless angler.
Sounds Good KayakBill and I appreciate the extra boat. I know we will need it. I still have a couple of people boatless I am working on.
Thanks for the info on the river. I had thought that they had fixed the water level already. I hope they have the board repaired before the 12th.
At this point I'm closing registration for the tourney. Anyone who has shown interest is welcome to come. If you are still waiting for a seat on a boat I will be getting back to you this week. I'm just closing it for any new people who have not yet told me that they would like to be involved.
Thanks
The woman I talked to said It's the second time this year the boards broke.Dont worry though it is still fishable even if they don't get it fixed

This team definitely worries me from what I've been seeing in the NH and southern NH threads we got to bring our A game
Hey guys I won't be able to make that tournament. I forgot my youngest son has a hockey tournament in Maine that whole weekend. If you have another one let me know I would like give it a shot.
bummer.
i feel as though i might have a chance now.
we have just been very just lucky. Yes I fish alot, But there is luck involved also. This the first year we have fished and have done really well. Last year we caught Bass but, Not as many hawgs as this year. Good luck and have fun to all at this tourny and post the results.
Tournament is this weekend!! Cant wait to get out there and have some competitive fun!! Is there anything you want/need us to bring Wagn, soda, burgers, chips, or anything else? whatever you need just let me know. Has anyone got out and fished the river lately? is the water level back up?
-matt-
Good Luck boys. Wish I was going. Post some pictures if anyone brings a camera.
Me and my buddy Matt are psyched as well. This will be my first tourney ever and I'm excited for it!
It's been a while since we saw each other wagn...it'll be good to see you and meet the rest of the folks here.
We can also bring whatever is needed. Maybe we should make a list so we do not have 100 bags of chips and no soda or something like that...although I'm sure wagn already has some stuff.
I'll start (edited to add stuff wagn does not have already) :
Jaystraw and Matt - dessert stuff-brownies or something.
Almost time for the Tourney.
Weather update: looks like 30% chance of rain and 78degrees.
The water was back up last time I was down there. I'll get an update put up on the water tomorrow.
I appreciate people bringing stuff.
Ive got hotdogs, chips, burgers and soda's right now. (extras are definitely welcome).
Finishing up he trophies tonight.
See everyone soon
Wish I could go, good luck guys and have fun
wagn,

Extra soda and paper plates would be cool.
Thanks

-matt-
Hey wagn, are we meeting at the launch at 7:00am, or should be be there earlier so we all can launch and be leaving the launch by 7:00am?
See everyone in the AM!
7am is the tourney start time. I'm hoping we can get everyone on the water start on time.
sounds good. We'll be there around 6:30-6:45am the latest.
we picked up some paper plates, plastic utensils(?), a roll of paper towels, and some rootbeer at waly world today.
also, we checked out the river for a couple of hours(our first time there). water is real low according to locals. wife managed a pickeral and i caught this bass.
IMPORTANT UPDATE.
I have to CANCEL the tournament. Just checked with my father who lives on the river and the water is extremely low. The cove he lives on is completely dried out. The water has continued to drop all day and is at this point too low to even launch a boat on. :'(
I apologize to everyone for having to cancel on such short notice. I've called everyone that I have numbers for.
We will be postponing to a later date when I'm sure that they have fixed the dam.
If anyone has any questions. PM me.

That sucks!! i was looking forward to a good day out on the water, hopefully we can reschedule this soon!!
-matt-
this definetly sucks!!! we were there today and didnt have any problems.
Just got your message wagn. That's a bummer, but hopefully we can reschedule.
Quotethis definetly sucks!!! we were there today and didnt have any problems.
Apparently it is just continuing to drop and will do so until they fix the boards on the dam. It's theoretically possible that something could change overnight but I don't want to get everyone down there so early and find out we can't even get in the water.
Sorry again for this being such short notice. I didn't know that there was still a problem till my father called me today.
Like I said I hope to reschedule this sometime soon once things have stablized down there. Right now I have a bunch of hamburger and hotdog rolls with no home.
Good luck to everyone tomorrow if you do go fishing.
