HA HA and i probably wouldnt throw that.

fishing user avatarbmadd reply :

It does look pretty good. I just wonder how fragile it is  :-/ It looks like one short strike away from being a panfish grub.

fishing user avatarrfrazier reply :

Would it stand up that well? what is it.

fishing user avatarGone_Phishin reply :

If the tail floats that sucker could be deadly.

fishing user avatarFishing Rhino reply :

Looks like some kind of swizzle stick.

fishing user avatarCODbasser reply :

kinda reminds me of a chicken leg that someone already ate the meat off of

My buddy said the same thing when I showed it to him.I told him I was wrong when I thought bass engulfed their prey :D Trickworms or anything else may get ripped by a small dink from time to time too and I think that worm looks incredible.

fishing user avatarslomoe reply :

Although I don't throw the shaky head as much as I'd like, when I saw Jeff Kriet throwing this on "Day on the Lake" I thought it looked like a great worm.

fishing user avatarKYntucky Warmouth reply :

definitely looks like a good worm

fishing user avatarJ Francho reply :

If it actually floats, its a killer shaky worm.  If it sinks, its a killer drop shot worm.  On a tough day, it would be killer on a light Mojo rig.

fishing user avatarbpNClgmouth reply :

its the kriet squirrel tail worm, floats like none other, so to answer your question, yes it does work and it does look good

fishing user avatarS I G M A reply :

that looks amazing... now that you've let the bait monkey out of the closet again...

fishing user avatarS I G M A reply :

The tail is meant to float... and its only 2.99 for a pack of 10

fishing user avatarDan: reply :

slomoe, that's where I saw it too. I looked it up but I couldn't find anywhere to buy them online until just now.

I used to fish shakey heads ALL THE TIME, on some trips I wouldn't even take anything else. I've tried Berkeley shakey head worms, Zoom finesse forms, roboworms, GY kut tails, the damiki boboss, the gambler giggy stick, case plastics jack's worm and many more. It's fair to say that I've tried most of the different styles of shakey head worms out there. I used to look everywhere for new styles of SH worms until I settled on the damikis and Berkeleys and stopped looking because I didn't think there was anything new or different than what I had tried. Needless to say I am excited about this new style.

fishing user avatarMottfia reply :

its pretty cool looking. the whole lion's tail on that thing gives it a different appeal. probably works like a charm

I saw that worm on day on the lake too.  I can't wait to try it out!

fishing user avatarshootermcbob reply :

Sigma, where did you find them for 2.99? I only can find them for 3.79 or 3.99?? Thanks

fishing user avatarSDoolittle reply :

I use the Damiki Finesse Miki worm for my shakyhead applications. The only problem with the Damiki is that the tail is actually concave and doesn't float at all (when I bought these, I thought it was a hollow bulb with air trapped and it would float). It was worked well for me even without the floating tail and I haven't just ripped a tail off yet from a fish hitting short.

fishing user avatarDan: reply :

those Damikis look good too! I hadn't seen them in anything but a little dropshot size.

fishing user avatarSDoolittle reply :

Tackle Warehouse has them in 4", 5.5", and 6.5". I was planning on getting a couple of packs when I get home and trying them out. Now I guess I'll have to get some of those Jeff Kriet worms too and compare.

Non floating worms can be AWESOME shaky head worms too.

yeah, I saw that. For some reason I thought they only came in 4" versions. Maybe they didn't have larger versions on TW until recently or maybe I just plain didn't remember correctly.

I know.  I refer to that as a jigworm.  Different bait. :D
