What is your favorite shaky worm? If your favorite comes in multiple sizes please include that as well...Thanks.
Zoom Trick worm & Zoom Finesse worm, also throw an Assalt salt shaker occasionally.

Zoom Finesse, Zoom Shakey Head worms and 4.5" Roboworms. Also try a Zoom lizard in the spring.

they come in 2 sizes normal worm size then a big one im not sure srry but i also just ordered some from
4 and 7.
Another vote for Zoom finesse and trick worms. Trick worms most of the time, and the smaller finesse if the bite is slow.
i love strike king 3x finese worms, and i wanna say they are 7 inches
btw with the 3x worms, do not leave them in the sun, in heat, or with other plastics in the same bad, those 3 situations will ruin the worms.
5" Gambler Dinger
4.75" Zoom Finesse worm
4.75-5" Zoom Shaky worm
the gamblers aren't used too much but they are awesome.
4" BPS Stik-o produces the most for me.

And NEVER dip them in JJ's Magic... ;D
why would you not dip them in JJ's? i was going to do that this spring since i just got JJ's
1...3X worms are so soft, they tend to Melt..
2..If you dip them in the clear JJ's, it will cause the scent to become tinted, i.e. the red shad makes JJ's clear, a reddish rose color....don't ask how I know this..lol
Instead, I would rub them down with Megastrike, and keep them in a zip lock baggie..

I really like 4.5 inch watermelon red flake zoom trick worms also 6 inch oxblood robo worms :)
Without question, the Strike King Elaztech four inch finesse worm in coppertreuse color.
They are absolutely indestructible. I've caught more than thirty fish on a single worm, and it still looked like new. If you looked carefully you could see scuff marks on the surface from pickerel chewing on it.
A Strike King finesse worm will last until you lose it.
They do need to be prepped first. They cannot be forced onto a bait barb, or a twist lock.
Heat a thin safety pin in a candle flame, and insert it into the nose of the worm to a depth of 3/4 inch or so. It will melt the plastic, leaving a hole which will then receive the barb.
I prefer the ShakE2 jig heads from Megastrike. Put the worm onto the barb with a small drop of super glue, and there it will stay.
Rig the worm weedless and you can dredge it through some pretty thick vegetation. The only thing that will catch on plant life is the knot.
The four inch worm is more like five inches long.

sorry, I prefer 4 inch on spot removers...
I've done well with the Roboworm Fat Straight tail, Reaction Innovations Flirt and the Zoom Shaky Tail.
I guess I need to try some of the tricks to get a screw lock or post to go into a 3x worm.
I like em' but holy hell are they a pain to rig. I thought a barbed jig head like the strike king or bite me shakey heads would be the answer. Nope. Easier, but still a PITA

X2. I buy the 4" and also the 7" and cut them to the length I desire if needed.
I have to agree with Primus, reaction Inovations flirt 6.95 (just about any color) and the 5 3/4" yami kut tail in purple brown laminate........ You tell anyone that fishes the res, I'll kill you!!!
roboworm zippers are THE best. i also like oxblood , 5 or 6 inch.
4.75" yum houdini worms
i purchased zoom trick worms to try and use the shaky head more, but it it doesnt suspend off the ground like i thought it would.
Am i doing something wrong or should i try a roboworm?
That's a nice tip Fishing Rhino!
My favorites
Zoom 4" finesse
Berley Gulp Alive
Strike King 4" finesse
I've even been know to throw a sweet beaver on a shakey head rig
I fish them all, except the Strike kings, on an Ikey head.
want to try the Z-MAN Floating WormZ . they look pretty dang good , tail stands straight up and has good movement . been using Zoom trick worms in baby bass and Robo worms fat straight tail worm in sxe shad.
Another vote for Zoom finesse and trick worms. Trick worms most of the time, and the smaller finesse if the bite is slow
X3
trick worm in motor oil red and bubblegum
finesse worm in watermelon seed and just picked up new color... greenpumpkin magic...it looks awesome!
X2 on the Roboworm Zipper
carrington or anyone in central va... where in the area do you pick up strike king 3x? every place i go they seem to elude me
I like the 3X as well.
I found one of the best shakey heads for these is the Gamakatsu Skip Gap Shakey Head. It goes on very easy and stays on, no fighting with the worm.
I found them at Tackle Warehouse.
I heard such good things about the Strike King 3X worms that I went out and bought a ton of them. I fished one day with them and then I gave them to my daughter to play with. She likes 'em....They stretch and snap back and I'm sure that if a 3 year old can't tear 'em up neither will the fish. Yep, they float. Yep, they are durable...They are also a pain in the butt to rig.
Back to NetBait and Zoom for me.
Strike King makes some awesome products but I think they overdid it on these things. How about some 2X or maybe even 1 1/2X....
Strike king 3X.... These are awesome. Their only downfall is rigging them. Use some superglue. These were not created with the baitmonkey's consent. They are indestructable!!!!!!
I use a robo worm look alike or a Yum look alike.
GYCB 6 1/2" Kut Tail.
8-)
QuoteQuote***.I like the tail action on this bait....pop the head and the tail whips, then slightly wiggles as it sinks.
Here's a little tub vid I made to show you what I'm talking about....watch the tail closely. A Trick Worm looks like it has rigamortis compared to this:
Dude, that video was awesome. Wanna trade some vids for some tackle?? (i'll have to get you a better shakey head though) LOL
b
Thanks....I'm really not sure what that head was....it was laying around and I used it for the video. I don't think it's really a "shaky" head per se.
I usually TX rig it with a pegged bullet since 90% of the time I'm throwing these in heavy cover.
zoom trick
gambler sweebo
the only 2 i use.
7" Strike King 3X worm rigged on a Gitbit jighead will outfish all others Ive tried.
Big bite baits..squirrel tail woms 6.5 inch bluke fleck blue.I like strike kings as well but those are difficult to get on a screw bait keeper type jig head....big bites are cheaper..like a ribbed worm but taper in the center with a fat tail that floats...I feel the only thing that matters in shakey head is the tail sticking up...these are my pick..light weight..light line...I've got the only bass I have caught this winter with this bait....the only thing..no major dist I've seen carry em. I don't know how they feel about me dropping store names...but check in Ashland Va
