fishing user avatarOHIO reply :

BPS Fin-Eke worm.

fishing user avatarIma Bass Ninja reply :

RoBoWoRm all the way!!! :)

fishing user avatarjdw174 reply :

Hag's Tornado is my #1.

fishing user avatarSDoolittle reply :

4" Zoom lizard

fishing user avatarAlpster reply :

I don't think you can beat the Zoom finesse, but I have also had good luck with 4" senkos and Strike King floaters.

fishing user avatarDockhead reply :

I usually stick with a trick worm, but if you need a little more shimmy try a Zoom Shakey Tail.

fishing user avatarNibbles reply :

Netbait Slim Shake Worms.

They're made for wacky rigging and are really thin and flexible and wiggly. That means they're not too durable, but eh, you get like 25 to a pack and they're cheap! Plus they work pretty well.

Got that right!  6" straight tail worm, oxblood or bold bluegill.

fishing user avatarDTack reply :

I have a soft spot sometimes for a smallie beaver on a shakeyhead.

fishing user avatarsoccplayer07 reply :

Roboworm. they don't last long but man do they work well.

fishing user avatarTexasfishingtips reply :

Grande Bass Mutant

fishing user avatarSeanW reply :

Zipper Hand Pours and Robo Fat Worms.

fishing user avatarphilsoreel reply :

StrikeZone Shake Up Head worms

Softest Hand Poured worm I've ever seen and are somehow as tough as a Zoom. :-?

I also like Roboworms but they just don't hold up.

fishing user avatarDavid P reply :

I use a DichosoBaits Flat Belly Boa, it's very similar to the Zoom trick worm, but having it hand poured enables me to order it in a much softer plastic, as well as a more buoyant plastic when desired.

fishing user avatarSam reply :

Just about anything.  :)

Man you got that right. I don't think there's any plastic that I've tried on a shaky head that hasn't got bit.

Right now senko style baits are working for me. Bottom shaking or swim shaking, either is working. I've also had great results using craw chunk trailers. Paca Chunk, Rage Chunk, Chigger Chunk, all produce.

fishing user avatarww2farmer reply :

Zoom finesse worms, and 4" senkos.

fishing user avatarPrimus reply :

Roboworm 6" Fat Straight Tail worm has been my favorite so far.

fishing user avatarKYntucky Warmouth reply :

Roboworm Straight Tails, Big Bite Squirrel Tails, GYCB Kut Tails, Taper Tails, and your standard finesse worm (zoom).

fishing user avatarerau618 reply :

Where I come from a Chompers 6" worm in watermelon red or green pumpkin ALWAYS works.

fishing user avatarSoFlaBassAddict reply :

Roboworm 6" Straight Tail

Gambler Giggy Finesse Snake

Strike King 3x Finesse Worms

GYCB Kut Tail and Senko

fishing user avatarbocabasser reply :

gambler sweebo in black.

fishing user avatarroadwarrior reply :

MegaBug on a MegaStrike Pro Series Shak-E2.

The GYCB 6 1/2 Kahuna Kut Tail is another one

of my favorites. Next to try, Rage Tail Thumper!

fishing user avatarlure junkie reply :

Jeff Kreit's squirrel tail worm. Absolutely sick.

fishing user avatarBluebasser86 reply :

Most of the time I'm fishing either a Zoom trick worm or a BPS stick-o worm 4 or 5 inch. I've had really good luck with river smallmouth with a Zoom meathead and a Yum craw papi in the 2.75 inch size.

fishing user avatarBryce C reply :

Net Bait Tmac or GYCB flappin hog....

I like the zoom ultravibe speed craw

fishing user avatarCarrington reply :

i really like the yamamoto senko pro's for shakey head.

fishing user avatarBassfisherman94 reply :

Defiantly the Roboworm, Martens Madness or the Margarita Mutilator colors are the best!

fishing user avataralienfishermen reply :

Ok this may sound nut's but for the last 2 mouths the 4 of us that bass fish here have only caught 5 on worms and more than 200 on spinner baits, and few on some other stuff

Mostly green and black or gold and black spinners

I always start with a worm, but give in to the spin

In the spring their great, that and some top water buzz

YMMV, and it's my first year fishing for Bass so...
