fishing user avatarBassboy15 reply :

Mine is a wopping $6....haha its a chatterbait....and I have only fished with it once and caught nothing.

fishing user avatarRaul reply :

fishing user avatarBankbeater reply :

I have one Lucky Craft Pointer that I have never had any luck on.  I think I spent around 15 or 16 bucks on it.

fishing user avatarJayson reply :

Yeah six bucks for me :). I always look at those expensive(when I mean expensive I mean 6 bucks an over ::)) I know I am a cheapie, but i just can't seem to get myself to buy a expensive lure, cause in the back of my head I'm thinking (first cast) I will lose it :-[. HAHA and I do swim sometimes for my snag's I can't get loose ;D.

fishing user avatarBaitMS reply :

The mattlure baby bass. After the 3'fer deal they cost about 11 bucks apiece.

I found a musky lure when I was working on a lake. Cant remember the brand. But I am sure it goes for more than $10.

Actually no, I catch many times more small fish in the 1-2 pound class with swimbaits than the ocassional bigun, the lure that has always caught the most biguns for me is the old reliable jig n 'pig .... which makes me think every now and then if I really need $2,000 of swimbaits to ketch them big mommas.   :-?

fishing user avatarBucketmouthAngler13 reply :

Mine is a Mattlures Bluegill. (over $25 with shipping)

And yes, I have gone swimming for it this year, twice.

fishing user avatarlubina reply :

Rago :'(.....but I love them :-X

fishing user avatarAvalonjohn44 reply :

Megabass Type x for $22 on ebay.  Also keep bidding on a certain color Ito Vision 110, but they go too high...

fishing user avatarguest reply :

I have a couple of megabass lures that are pricey, but I think the huddleston deluxe might be the most expensive. I don't have great luck with the megabass crankbaits, but the pop-x, pop max, and vision 100 are excellent fish catchers.

Never caught anything on the hud.  It's starting to get beat up.  I did get one jarring strike but missed the fish.

I have a couple of matt's baby bass.  I had bad luck with mattlures.  By that I mean I would loose them.

I had both the bb and the gill and lost them both.  But good ole lightning rod sent me two baby bass lures and his mojo must be working because one of them is a killer.  Nothing real big on it yet, but I've caught a number of two pounders on it.

fishing user avatarRanger364 reply :

I have a couple of Rico's. Not much good in the Midwest.

fishing user avatarJimzee reply :

Megabass Scream-X Jr.  in Bass color.  I think I give $48.00 after shipping on Ebay.  Too pretty to fish with.  I can't imagine losing a $48.00 lure. ;D

Lol personally I can't imagine purchasing a $48 lure!! I think the most expensive lure I've bought are my YUM Dingers...they run for about $6-7 a pack! And also my BOOYAH! 1/2 ounce spinnerbaits in my fav color which run maybe $7. I wil not spend more than that on ANY lure! Maybe equipment, but not lures.  ;D

fishing user avatarsenile1 reply :

I bought some Lucky Craft DD and Live Pointers and Sammy's this winter on sale.  Even on sale, their prices are the highest I've spent on single lures.  I don't recall the exact prices but I think they were somewhere in the 8 or 9 dollar range.

fishing user avatarfourbizz reply :

My 3:16 hardbaits..got another one on the way :)

fishing user avatarBassassasin12 reply :

Lucky Craft Sammy.... but it has defenitly paid off!!!! :) :) ;)

fishing user avatarDeuceu72 reply :

$2500.00.................It was the wife's engagement ring............Lured her right in!  ;D ;D ;D

fishing user avatarflyphisher # reply :

Lucky Craft-

sammies, flat cb's, g-splash, pointers...

and some local handmades- Ole Woody's $12.50 but worth it.

fishing user avatarMunkin reply :

I would say somewhere between $25-30 for a Megabass Vision (which has caught nothing) or a custom painted LC crank.

fishing user avatarkayl. reply :

Mine is currently a $15 Lucky Craft Live Pointer, Sammy, or Pointer, but I plan on buying a $20 Bettencourt Rodent and a $40 Bettencourt Real Fish Bluegill for a nice birthday present to myself in May.

fishing user avatarRedlinerobert reply :

Huddleston for sure.  I bought two of them and am looking forward to trying them out.

fishing user avatarnebass reply :  :) Well..... I would like to share a thought, some will spend ~$40,000 on a boat, another $35,000 on a truck or SUV to pull it, and thousands on rods, reels and line, so what is the matter with spending good money on some nice lures?? :;) What I get the kick out of the most is sitting in my buddy's old 1960's trihull fiberglass 14 footer at the boat ramp, talking to the guy who bought the Nitro 929CDX, and finding out he couldn't catch a blessid fish out of that fancy boat whilst my buddy and I had one of the best days on the lake! Don't get me wrong, I would buy the Nitro Z-9 if I could afford it but I can't, I can however buy some Megabass lures and not have a loan, to each his own I guess. :)
fishing user avatarRaul reply :

Well, I still fish from my 12 ft aluminum tub powered by a beefy 6.5 HP,  a under 2,000 rig with aprox 10 grand of tackle in it.  :)

A couple of months ago I went to Zimapan, there I was at the dock loading the stuff when a guy in a brand new 4 Runner pulling a brand new Ranger Comanche Z22, man, what a rig ! , he launched it and parked it right next to my tub; all day long I saw him cruising at warp speed up and down the lake, at the end of the day back at the dock he asked us how we did during the day and whining that the fish weren 't biting ...... oh well, we did ok, yup it 's true the fish weren 't cooperative .... we only caught 130 fish between 1-2 pounds.  :), dang ! we couldn 't connect with the biguns.  ;D

I'm not there with you yet, Raul. The most Ive ever spent on a lure was 60 bucks. I have a 3600 full of pointers, my go-to search bait. Several rod/reel combos worth over 350, all loaded on a 14' jonboat powered by a Minn Kota 55 lb thrust. ;D

fishing user avatarSupermat reply :

Well, to be honest I don't really know. The most expensive bait I throw is a $200 wakebait. As for my most expensive baits, I own the first ever floating flat tail and first ever floating boot tail Huddleston 12" swimbaits. Don't have a clue what they're worth.  :)
