It's hard to pick one since for me it's decided by water color and lake I'm fishing. But out of the colors listed I fish black/blue flake and watermelon red flake the most.

Hard to pick just one, but I'd go with green pumpkin. Most of the lakes I fish are at least relatively clear so it is a good natural color. In dirty water I want black/blue though, and I also like baby bass in clearer water as well.

Green pumpkin catches fish everywhere in every color water. My second choice would be solid black.

Junebug or Black and Blue is always my first choice down here. When fishing in clearer lakes farther north then I'll grab a Green Pumpkin.

Can I vote for perch colored lol. Where I fish there isn't any shad like you would see down south, and not a lot of crawfish although they certainly are there they are not the main forage. Most of my bass eat perch or sunfish or other smaller bass. When ever I see a perch color I jump on it. One of my favorite colors when I used to throw senko style baits was the srike king or lucky strike that had orange yellow and black swirl. We used to call it sweet potato pie. Yum also made a pink orange yellow swirl that I would call creamsicle. In terms of the jerk baits and paddle tail swimbaits I will usually try to find a sunfish laminate color or draw perch stripes with green back yellow body and a hint of orange in the belly using spike it markers and such. I believe white/chartruse might be better near shad populations but not for me. Where I go it's usually murky, so I will almost never throw a green pumpkin or watermelon green since the bass won't see it unless he's right up close to it. I know that those are some of yalls favorite colors and some on here said those are the only ones you need I just don't feel confident if they can't see it. I will also use baby bass and black blue junebug a lot and don't use "loud" colors anymore.

Something with the words "pumpkin" or "watermelon" in the name is what I use 90% of the time. The rest of the time it's a junebug or a plain black.

As a youngster in the early 70's I only fished in ponds and the local river, the only 2 colors I would fish would be black or purple. I did not see the need for any other colors because that is what the old timers always fished. As I got older and began to fish lakes more, I noticed most anglers using soft plastics are using some form of green. I try to use black or purple at times but I always wind up with a green pumpkin or watermelon because it just seems to work better. There is one lake nearby that a black/blue Senko will get some bites, so I get to use black with confidence sometimes.

Black/blue flake lately is the only color that's working for me. On other bodies of water, I like purple worms. But for the Trick Worm, I like Bubble Gum, Limetreuse & Methiolate-all the flourescent colors. I can't explain it because it's the opposite of black/blue, but there you have it.

I fish muddy water, so I like black, junebug, black and blue, and plum(for 10 inch worms) That's only for muddy water though

I have the best success with green pumpkin, black and blue, Okeechobee craw, black, and white. The other color I like is trophy hunter on Grandebass lures. I do change colors according to water color and time of year.

Without knowing the specifics of where you are fishing, it's hard to choose. I picked blue/black because that is the color jig I usually always start off using.

Where I bass fish preferred soft plastic colors change every month and sometimes every hour depending on the lake.
Roboworm worm colors;
Baitball, MMIII, oxblood-red flake, Aaron's Magic-red flake and orange crusher.
Uptons worm colors;
Purple thunder, Aaron's tragic, purple blue neon, mid night and heresy blue neon.
Yamamoto grub colors;
cinnamon w/ black, gold flake, watermelon w/ black, purple flake, green pumpkin w/ black, red flake.
Berkley worms craws;
green pumpkin w/black flake, black w/blue flake.
Those are the basics with dozens of other color combo's.

It mostly depends on the water clarity.
Where I fish the water color tends to be rather clear. If its bright and sunny I use watermelon but if its cloudy I'll use green pumpkin.
The lakes that I fish that are dirty I use mostly plum, purple, and some black/blue.
If I had to pick one 1 cover most situations I'd go with green pumpkin.

I'm a green pumpkin and black & blue guy most of the time. I remember as a kid having some grape scented purple worms that smelled delicious! I don't think I ever used them but they sure did smell good.

I bet those were Mann's Jelly Worms. They're still available, still smell like grape jelly, they come in several colors and sizes, and still catch fish. I like the Blackberry, the Watermelon Red, and the Marmalade Motor Oil.

Green pumpkin is my favorite for sure fishing the ultra clear water I do. Purple/pink like morning dawn works really well in the desert lakes when it's bright and sunny

If I had to pick one color of all my soft plastics I think I would pick Junebug. Even in clear water that color seems to produce decently.

I like two tone colors when possible. Black w/ blue swirl for example. Tequila sunrise is a classic producer.

Green Pumkin Blue, GP Candy, Black and blue, Junebug, Blue Saphire, Watermelon seed, Watermelon candy, Watermelon blue, Black, Black chart tail, Motor Oil, Green Pumpkin Amber.....and Clear silver, gold,copper flake....Red Shad...I think that is it....Smokes maybe, black and red flipping tubes...
