What would they be. Im trying to get prepared.
I would go with a buzzbait, soft jerkbait in a shad color, and senko in green pumpkin. I like to start with the buzzbait when they are going after shad in the shallows and both the jerkbait and the senko make great follow up baits.

1. A spinnerbait, 1/2 oz. chrt/wht. Fall is when the spinnerbait bite is at it's best.
2. A t-rigged 4 inch tube. Blk/blu with a 3/8 tungsten weight.

Well, where I fish, I would make sure I bring along a 1/2oz frog colored Jitterbug, a bag of plastic worms I can rig up weedless (usually pumpkin), and a shad colored 'Trap. I got some nice LM's last night on the Jitterbug. ;D

Shad schools are a key deal in our area in the Fall.
I know you said 3 only, but spinnerbaits and rattle traps are key in fall too.
