If could tell any company to make a bait(or any takle for that matter) just for you what would it be? Mine right off hand would be a bluegill pattern jointed shad rap. Gammy superline(springs) frog hook with a 1/16 keel weight. A shimano reel with Concept 13 reel knobs. Yours?
A lure that would catch a ten-pounder every time I threw it.

Nice, I'll take 2!!

not sure but i can say that they make a 4/0 gammy hook like you mentioned
I'd just want Berkley to bring back their 4" Pulse worms from a few years ago. Those things caught me 90% of my bass during the years they made them and I have not found anything as good to replace it.
A top water that will back up when twitched . I actually have a prototype carved , I need to add some hardware and try it. Might be impossible to do , kind of like a perpetual motion machine is impossible .
A floating KVD jerkbait and a Hack Attack buzzbait with the siwash hook, heavy wire, and big blade.
I'd like to request the Rage Craw & Rage Lobster to be improved & modified where I could actually hang my body weight off a claw and it would not pull off . . . EVER ! !
And then make ALL Senko's out of that same Super Natural Material.
Oh, and Pike Proof Monofilament & Swimbaits would be a BIG help too.
A-Jay
I'd like a completely silent crankbait , not even hooks and split rings rattling .
I tried to suggest my hot senkos color we can't get. The big plastics company didn't listen. The colors aren't available.
Now I suggest nada.
Funny they offer a color that's close but not in a senkos.

Meant to say in 5/0.
for that you gotta bump up to 3/16
I would request a plastic worm that's an exact match of a Bill Norman Snatrix. This Is purely sentimental and while some might consider It a waste It was the first plastic worm with which I caught a bass.
I would ask them to make a self propelling battery powered crankbait with a hook as a propeller.
Elazteck rage craws
A Braid/Fluoro Hybrid
-No Stretch
-Invisible
-Slack Line Sensitivity
-Small Diameter
-Good Knot Strength
-Sinks
(Definitely not going to happen but it's nice to dream about)

how do you know it is a hot color if it doesn't exist? there are tons of custom bait manufacturers out there that can probably make whatever you want.
It did exist but there no longer available. I have a stash of them but can't get anymore.
Not a new bait.
Bring back the BPS / XPS TOP KNOCKER.
it's the hottest topwater lure I have ever used.
One that I can use properly.
A formula that would turn my tears after a day of no fish into a plastic scent that would bring the bass into the boat for me.
A Rage Cut'R worm with flanges on either end for wacky rigging.........
A senko with craw pinchers on one end for texas rigging........
A huge jerkbait/swimbait combination. The design and action of a jerkbait, the size of a huge swimbait........
and last but not least, Megabass baits for the price of Strike Kings!!

zoom has a bait similar called the stick fluke or something....not big craw pinchers but it has a fluke tail on it. might be worth checking out for you
i'd have Huddleston make a 10'' & 12'' ( wedge tail , not the old boot tail) deluxe in rainbow trout !!!
I honesty have no idea. There's enough tackle on the market to make my head spin as it is.
It would be cool if you could play the actual atari game frogger on the water, only rather try to avoid obstacles, try to get a bucket mouth to crush it. Either way, little froggys death is unavoidable.
Another vote for a shad rap. Bigger and a true Yellow Perch pattern like below, not that anemic pale yellow + green but actual orange and black.
Current shad rap line also isn't big enough. I'd like a deep diving one with a 5+ inch body, and might even be interested in an oversized 7" version if it's the right price. I have had a lot of success with oversized crankbaits lately but it is hard to find a good balance of size and action. Strike King 10XD has the right size but the action is not as good as a DT16 or a Shad Rap. Rapala seems to really have the buoyancy and action aspects perfected for these lures, but they just aren't big enough. I'll still catch blue gill, rock bass, and dink SMB/LMB on a Rapala DT16. I think the reason they've kept them small is that they still use actual balsa wood while other companies use hollow plastic bodies. A block of balsa is exponentially more expensive for a 5 inch lure than a 3 inch lure.

It is for sale in Europe currently under the name "Hart Knocker." Someone from Germany is selling them on ebay. Shipping to the US = $70+
In the process right now! I do not like any of the current swim jig heads on the market so I am having one made for me.

I still want to know who made this one:
I´ll ask Rogelio to see if he can pour me a bunch in different sizes because man, they are deadly !

I've seen it.
To talk about a weighted frog hook it doesnt have to be super light. I too would appreciatea 5/0 with a minimal keel weight though. I used to throw Ribbit Frog with a weightless hook and even if i rigged it straight it would sometimes flip over backwards. I hate that when I make a perfect cast under a tree. This year I switched to 3/0 weighted Gama hook and it works great for me. You can run it as slow but all you do is start reeling the second it hits the water and it will stay afloat. The only thing it noticed with the springlock Gama hooks is the hook is bent upward which is great for hookups but makes it hard to tex-pose and make it weedless.
My lure would be the more softbaits in the Okeechobee cray blue. Some times you can find some Blue black or June bug or blue sapphire but not the blue thats in the Okeechobee claw color. The one thats green pumpkin on one side and ad vibrant blue with large flakes on the other side. That and more perch colors for soft jerk baits.
Also I hate that every frog I see that has a cool color the bottom is white. If its cloudy and the sky is white I want the Bass to see the awesome color that caught my eye not a white frog belly against a white background.
A search bait with a micro sized camera on its nose that transmits wirelessly at least 200'.
If I told you I'd have to kill you......all of you! ;-)
I'd ask them to make all soft plastics and cranks in golden shiner patterns. I fish a place with shiners and I have to improvise a good bit to get bit.

looks like a stick bait that has been cut short and then had a lighter taken to it , that's exactly what it looks like when you burn the end of the bait and it keeps melting causing the burning plastisol to ball up , give it a try ...

have you checked into musky lures , they make oversize crankbaits like what your wanting , don't know about how realistic the paint patterns will be .

Closest thing that I can find is the VMC Drop dead Weighted hooks. The 4/0 with an 1/16 works good so far. Its longer than most so hence the 4/0. Like you I favor gammy.
I'd like a reel that automatically allows for the wind.

And when you got tired of catching 10lbers…………………one that'll catch you 15lbers!

Sorry, I forgot they already make one....The Banjo Minnow.
Maybe the "Fropwater Spinnercrank" that Mystery Tackle Box featured in their "10 Worst Fishing Products Ever" commercial
