I'm a Bandit and Norman guy myself, although I've been fishing a lot of the Strike King bait lately (Ser 5 & 6).
always like Rapala stuff, and have great success with it. Decently priced, good selection, and nice patterns.
Jason
Strike King because of there series 1 and 3's. The Red Eye lipless series is the best on the market imo.
Rapalas and Bombers. Rapalas if I can only choose one.
Lucky Craft.
I voted for Rapala because they make some great baits with great prices. I use a decent amount of Luckycraft hardbaits too but the Rapala hard jerkbaits produce better for me then the LC hard jerkbaits. The action of the Lc jerkbaits are alot nicer, but the fish just seem to hit the Rapalas more for me. My 2nd choice would probably be a tie between Lc/Yozuri.
Close but Bandit edges out on Strike King...Bandit just has a lot more colors
Rapala if I had to choose just one.
Bill Lewis (rat-l-trap)
It don't need a lip to be a crankbait
Roger
Count me as a Rapala guy, but also have ALOT of Rat-L-Traps, Bandits, and Mann's 1-'s.

Bomber.
That's what I thought.Thanks.
bomber here
This site's own Marty Burns (aka Big M)
He can make pretty much anything I want or need from -1' to +20'
Another for Rapala as the favorite, but I am not completely loyal to one brand. If I were forced to fish with lures from only one company, I could do quite well with Rapala.
None of these. Bill Lewis Lures is my personal favortie. Small company with a big impact on the fishing industry.
I always check out the Bandits first.
Then the Lucky Crafts.
Followed by the Rapalas.
Then Bomber.
Rat-L-Traps are favorite lipless cranks.
my favorite is by far rapala. bandit comes in second, and bomber in close third.
QuoteWho makes the fat free shad?
bomber used to make it, not sure if they still do, but i know that Xcalibur is making them now.
not brand loyal at all when it comes to crankbaits probably own 20 different brands of cranks seriously. but my #1
1. Bagely
2.Lucky Craft
3.Rapala
RA-PA-LA!!!
Poe's, brians bees, rapala, lee sisson, bass hunters custom crankbaits, and persuader lures.
.dsaavedra. Bomber makes the fat free shad. Xcalibur us to make them.
Rapala #1, Bandit #2
Right now Tiemco and Nories. I have a new favorite every couple of outings.
Nories Double Full Size.
Tiemco Diving Pepper.
if its working thats my fav. at that time.
I voted "Lucky Craft" because those are the ones I use the most !
Like the Moonsault CB, the Fat & Flat CB, and love the RC a bunch.
But I also love them Bagleys. The orig. B2 & 3 ... have an old favorite color...Only have two left though ! It's like a blue/purple back with salmon/pink flanks and pink belly with golden sparkles and a chartreuse tail.... Anybody knows the name ?
As for DD CB, just LC as I said, and also Norman from time to time !
I have ALOT of different brands of cranks, but my favorite is Rapala, because the Shad Raps, DT's, and Rattlin Raps put more fish in my boat than all others.
Falcon
Lucky Craft and the Rapala DT series
All of Norman's crankbaits get my vote. 8-)
LC cranks and sticks for shallow and mid depth.
Norman DD-22 for deep water.
I love bomber cranks. Bagleys were a close second.
I am suprised Rapala is running away with the vote. The DT series is nice and I use these lures primarily for shallow water applications. However, IMO the Norman DD22 didnt get enough love in this thread. In the summetime these cranks really start to shine.
Another lure that I havent seen mention is the Wiggle Wart. All that lure does is catch fish and is one of my favorite baits to use in the spring.
Lucky Craft and Rapala. I can't wait to use the new DT Fat series from Rapala. It looks like a winner.
Rapala = $12 bait in a $7 package

X2
bombers are great for their lower cost. I cant come close to being able to afford LC.
