Do you have one website that you buy all, or almost all of your tackle from? Or several different ones? Or do you have one for soft plastics, and another you prefer for crankbaits or jigs, etc?
Edi: This doesn't necessarily have to be websites. It could be the mom n pop tackle shop down the road, or wherever.
I buy most of my stuff from Cabela's and BPS, but I also like to cruise around the web. You never know what kind of online deal you will find.
Because they're the closest: Wal-Mart and Gander Mountain. On line: Producto
I used to buy my online stuff from #1 Bass pro and then Cabelas. But I haven't bought tackle from them in years. Tackle warehouse ships faster and cheaper and their prices are usually better ecpecialy when they have their sales. plus they have a better selection of higher quality stuff. Bass Pro, Cabelas and Wal mart tend to stock a lot of low end gear. If I have to have something now there are a couple good small tackle shops close to me that are really good like East county bait and tackle and Lakeside bait and tackle. I usually check the clearance stuff at Wal mart when I am there and every once in a while I find something to buy.
Tackle Warehouse is my #1
Off the top of my head...... Tackle warehouse, Bass Pro Shops, cabelas, dicks, gander mtn., Susquehanna fishing tackle, another site, walmart, and probably a few more I can't remember. Not much in the area for locally owned mom and pop type bass tackle shops or I would buy from them.
Bass Pro, Cabela's, Roger's, Academy, and Tackle warehouse is where I get most of my stuff.
Bass Pro Outlet store is my #1. Always fun to buy a lure off the rack for a dollar when it's in the main store for 15.99 or whatever. Sometimes there isn't much in there and other times it's like a gold mine. I buy some from other places from time to time but mostly it's for tackle making and not lures or rods and reels.
TW, Dicks, wal-mark and BPS
On line Tackle Warehouse is my number one choice, that said I buy local whenever I can from independent tackle shops.
Tackle warehouse for selection, small tackle shop or bps for emergencies.
Tackle Warehouse. One time they sent the incorrect weight for jigs. Called them and they promptly sent me the correct weight and told me to keep the incorrect ones.
Also, they offer a 10% discount to all active and inactive military veterans.
I buy most of my stuff from TW. Ill buy rod/reels and tackle occasionally on the forums and ebay. Locally i have one tackle shop and dicks.
Wal-Mart ,dicks, gander, tw, bps, local tackle shop..
TW and basspro

x2 ... sprinkle in the occasional Gander or Cableas if there is one nearby but those are my go-to spots.
lures - TW
terminal tackle - Academy
Reels - Ebay
Rods - always buy in person
line - Academy
Tackle Warehouse and Bass Pro online.
Dicks, Bass Pro, Local Store in person.
Unfortunately for me there's a bass pro about 20 minutes from my house so I do most of my shopping there. If they don't have what I'm looking for I order from TW
From 2013 the following:
TW
Basstackledepot (on ocassion)
Tackletrap
Thehookuptackle
TheTackleCenter
Northstar custom baits
Siebert Outdoors
Bass Team Tackle
Cabelas
BPS
Scheels

Tackle Warehouse is my #1
I also live in San Deigo and its so hard to beat Tackle Warehouse. Being we get our shipment the next day and cheaper prices, you cant beat it.
Locally ,Wal-Mart is all I've got. I drop in at Cabela's, Bass Pro Shops, Academy, etc. when I'm in the neighborhood. A lot of my purchases are online from Barlow's, TW, and others.
Tom
Tackle Warehouse is my #1. Their prices are good, their customer service is outstanding, their selection is unbeatable, free shipping over $50 and no tax since I don't live CA, what more can you ask for? They've always treated me right so I am loyal to them for all my online shopping. I do pick stuff up from EBAY frequently as well. Other than that, I have Dick's, Cabela's, Academy, Gander Mountain, Southwestern Parts, Barlow's, Fishin' World and BPS all within 20 minutes of me. I don't stand a chance.
TW, Bass Pro,(occasionally) a little local shop In the area, Siebert Outdoors, JJ's Magic, and more and more Foothills Marine In Morganton NC.
I actually get some good deals and most of my tackle from ebay
Academy, BPS, Tackle Warehouse, Strike Zone, DSG, Gamder Mountain
TW for most of the purchases, Northstar for Jigs, and Walmart for pan fish stuff&senkos when its on sale.
a bunch....
BPS, Gander Mtn, Academy, Dick's, WalMart, Amazon
for online it's pretty much Tackle Warehouse. awesome selection, good prices, good service and the higher quality items that i'm looking for these days
Tackle Ware .House
Bass Tackle Depot
Cabelas
Gander Mountain
Dick's
We don't have much for mom and pop shops but whenever i've in the area 30 minutes north of me, i stop by a local shop that has the nicest old woman running it day in and day out.
Hutch's Tackle. I don't order from him though. I always go to his house when i'm near cabelas in prarie du chien.
When I lived in Orladno, it was BPS all the time. They always had everything I needed. Now that I'm in Gainesville for the time being. I get stuff from all over the place and what I cant find, I get from Tackle Warehouse.
BPS is my go to and when that isn't available, I order from TW. I use the same stuff on a regular basis and more that half of it, I cant find here in Gainesville or Ocala.
I like to spread the wealth besides the bigger stores the local mom/pop bait shops have to eat too. The mom/pop shop has Mark downs on older lures which I give to the kids. Dicks Sporting Goods locally too besides Wal-Mart.
REMEMBER TO "shop at our sponcers here first" for without them supporting us we would not be here.
My online places are;
Bass Pro Shops
Siebert Outdoors (custom quality jigs)
Tackle Warehouse (rods)+
Fish and Save (very affordable rods n reels)
EBay (reels n rods n lures) one must be careful it can be sleezebay sometimes. Read the descriptions carefully and read them three times.
Overstockedbait n tackle. (Line, pike n bass lures)
Buyfishingstuff (okuma reels and tackle)
Vimage Outdoors (lures n plastics)
Fishing tackle outlet. (lures/plastics)
Brannans bass shop Texas. (Lures n accessories) if these guys where locally I'd be broke, these people fish too.
Remember to keep fishing affordable and still enjoyable too.
At one point in my life I ate P&J sandwiches for lunch and a $0.25 cent can of soda so I saved $$ to buy fishing tackle and I was grateful.
I got to fish. I still take P&J sandwiches fishing today.
I buy my swimbaits from the makers of the baits and most of the rest is from Tackle Warehouse or Caleblas. I try to buy locally when I can but most of the time they do not have what I need or want.
listed by financial expenditure
1. Tackle warehouse
2. Mountaineer gun sales (mom n pop)
3. Cabelas
4. Dicks
5. Walmart
6. Seibert

Joesflies
Mepps
Mister Twister great bargain bin discount deals
Lurenet
Tackle Warehouse, Tackle Warehouse, and Tackle Warehouse. Best selection period. Do some surfing. Academy has some good sales and Cabelas too. I usually make a trip to BPS Spring Classic. Overstock Bait and Tackle sometimes has some good deals. Recently got a bunch of Rage baits for $1.99 and Senkos for $2.99. Google what you are looking for. This led me to Academy's sale on Xcalibur Oneknockers recently.
Online I buy from tackle warehouse, BPS, and overstock bait.
Locally, I have l a n d big fish & an amazing place called Rodmaker's Shop. Occasionally I'll check out DSG and Gander Mountain for their sales.
Usually buy from Bass Pro Shops.
