P-Line here.
I use power pro for most of my fishing, but the Yo-Zuri Ultra Soft is getting more action all the time. I like Vanish for flouro leaders.

CXX beats the pants off of everything.
Triple Fish or Power Pro
QuoteTriple Fish or Power Pro![]()
This is a smart man!
PowerPro and Team Fish line.
My favorite is Tectan Premium Plus, but it was not on the list. My second option is P-Line, different varieties. On cold weather/water I like Trilene XL
My favorite is definitely suffix.
Pline- I'm a CXX man
Berkley Trilene Sensation for co-poly
Berkley Trilene XL or XT for Mono
and Spider Wire Ultra Cast for braid.
Don't have a favorite flurocarbon....................yet
All I use is Berkley XT. I use 6lb on ALL my spinning rigs and 10,14 and 17 on my baitcasters. It's likely I will never switch, there is nothing tougher or more abrasion resistant out there in mono. I may try Maxx this year but I doubt I'll switch.
I have several brands that I like for different reasons but if I had to pick my favorite everyday all purpose line I would go with P-line Floroclear.
If I had to pick my favorite line, I would go with Trilene Professional Fluorocarbon.
Suffix Elite for Mono 8lb for my spinning gear, 12lb for casting.
Power Pro in 30lb for my braid needs, spinning and casting.
Yozuri Ultra Soft. Thanks for the recommendation Road Warrior.
Suffix for braid
InvisX for floro
Power Pro for braid, Vicious for everthing else
Power Pro braid
Pline mono
Seguar fluro
Gamma or Suffix for me!
Gamma copolymer #12 hasn't failed me yet. Been using it 2 years
Where are IzorLine and McCoy?
I'm not sure how it happened, but I've become a devout user of braided polyethylene for virtually 'every' angling situation.
I'm currently using PowerPro braid, but I trust that other brands of braid are equally remarkable.
There isn't anything else I could possibly ask of a fishing line, so without any scapegoat the rest depends on me.
Roger
Mono - Sufix
Braid - Power Pro
Fluorocarbon - SeaGuar Invizx
Berkeley Big Game
Sometimes I love braid sometimes I hate it :-/
I like sunline because of the way it handles. No slinky effect, strong smooth and holds a knot great and no water absorption. It has a smaller diameter for it breaking strength.
Some of the other brands looks like a pices of rope compared to it.
In my openion with all of the fishing pressure on the lakes today you have a better chance of catching fish with smaller line.
The only down side is it is hard to find unless you order.
BPS Excel for mono, Power Pro for braid, and Seagur for floro.
Power Pro
QuotePower Pro
ditto
P-line CXX moss green
QuoteWhere are IzorLine and McCoy?
I hear ya, Izor XXX is sweet!
90% of my rigs have Cuda on them right now, two have seaguar Inviz-X and one has Diamond Illusion. There are so many good lines out there right now that these polls never come to any kind of conclusion, except that spiderwire sucks. J/K
QuoteYozuri Ultra Soft. Thanks for the recommendation Road Warrior.
Ditto
nothing will ever beat or come close to sufix seige, smoke green in my book
Sufix. I hope they decide to make Flourocarbon soon.
I plan to continue experimenting with a few new lines every year, but as of now, this is my fourth year with Yo-Zuri Hybrid and Hybrid Ultra Soft as my main lines. Prior to Yo-Zuri, P-Line was my standard, but the memory of the CXX and inconsistancy of the Floroclear were big negatives for me. For all the P-Line fans, try a spool of Y-Z for yourself and see what you think.
8-)
Gamma is by far the best line i have used yet!!!!
cabela's no-vis.
the bps xps fluoro is a close second.
gamma and sunline are next on the to-do list.
