They just got em on TW, and OMG I think I'm in love. Anyone have any experience's using them?
Too rich for my blood. Looks badass though.

X2
I wonder what the warranty is like?
For that kind of cheese it better come with a scuba diver to swim down and hook the fish for me.
I strongly urge anyone to look into a truly custom rod before dropping that kind of coin on a production one. You can get something that looks and performs at least as well and probably better and it would be the only one of it's kind.

Oh boy....aren't I poor enough? Christmas maybe....I want
I just got an Orochi XX Spinnerbait Special. Only fished it twice but loving it. The balance, weight, and finish is outstanding. Looking forward to spending more time with it but its a joy to cast and seems plenty sensitive so far. I see at least one more Orochi XX in my future.
They also have a handful of other rod lines as well all of which are above the orochi xx line. Would be interesting to see if they will be eligible for discounts during sales. Megabass has generally had a tight grasp on retailers and their pricing outside of the orochi xx line. Megabass makes some of the finest and most versatile rods out there. Will defidently be adding a few more over time to the rotation!
WAOW its open for general public now. i thought high end megabass was suppose to be rare hard to get. whats the point of owning a megabass rod now? Wasnt that the whole point of owning a high end jdm stick so no one else can get one? At least for me

They'll still be rare…at $700 it's gonna be rare.
Nice looking rod. Heard they fish even better than they look. Unfortunately it's a tad out of my price range, so I won't be getting one.

o wow... my eyeballs just blew up
The Arms rods are truly works of art.
Man all this JDM stuff i'm discovering now... might have to dump everything and restart.

That's a slippery slope my friend, proceed with caution!
I actually just pulled the trigger on an Arms Challenge A6903X on Rakuten. How will I explain this one to the wife.
You're in for it now. I'm actually going to get a megabass orochi x4 and a metanium xg sometime this month. Pretty much whenever I can find the time to go pick it up.
Nice, I'm just going to blame you guys.
Sorry, my mistake.

Lol no worries, I'm actually super glad you posted that. I was about to buy a X7 off of TW, then I saw you post. I would have regretted buying the X7 then finding out about those and not getting one. I'm a big sucker for shiny things.
Nice going! I hope everything goes well with Rakuten though. They aren't known to be very reputable.

I've ordered an LTZ and a T3 Air and got them both no problems.

Ok cool, I've just read some bad reviews. I'm glad you've had good luck with them.
I'm glad there's still decent people in this world still looking out for others well being.
Those rods look amazing. I hope you plan to be buried with it for that kind of coin.
What kind of warranty does megabass have?
I almost bought a X7, although I thought to myself, and I honestly can't bring myself to fish with such an expensive rod haha. I wouldn't even want to scratch it, so I figured if I wasn't gonna fish with it then there was no point in me buying it. Not to mention such a rod would need an amazing reel to match it... Now how does it fish? I will never know, although it does look like and amazing rod... But again, at that price I can almost get myself two rep sample NRXs.

Wow. That is a work of art... And it would have to be to cost $879.39 at current exchange rates. Can you imagine breaking one? I think they'd hear me scream all the way in Japan hahaha
Wow though- if I was loaded I would probably have a whole set of those, they really are the most gorgeous rods I've ever seen. Since you're good at this JDM thing, show me some amazing reels that would be a proper crown atop those reel seats. A Steeze EX would look nice, but there has to be much, much crazier out there.
As for warranty you want to only order from an authorized megabass dealer in USA. Any jdm or auction site will denied your warranty threw megabass usa. USA warranty 3 years, 1st year free replacement, the 2nd & 3rd must pay 40%

There is. Here.

Not outrageously priced enough haha. Heck, Steezes are more expensive- and who could live with that?!??
I would WAY rather have one of those racing conditions 256s than a steeze though, I must say.

How's this?
Aaron Martens fishes Megabass rods for long time, back when he lived in CA, they have always been $$$. Aaron won angler of the year for 2013, making Megabass rods more popular.
Tom
I better be able to cast into a parking lot and catch a fish at that price.

Wow yeah that'll do! Jeez... To think that some people can spend that on fishing gear is mind blowing... But I would never discourage them from doing so if they can afford it, because those things are GORGEOUS!

I'm still having nightmares from my NRX snapping (brittle) and I had a "wild card". I'm almost afraid to fish my expensive rods. That breakage has scarred me for life.

I learned from a friend to stay away. He referred to it as "going to the dark side". He has gone there, and I don't think he's coming back....
I got sucked into it from the import car scene. Paying crazy amounts of money for parts that are stock on cars over there but we can't get here. It's a slippery slope. $300 for some used stock 94 Honda headlights because they don't have the amber reflector in them like US cars. Dumb!
