I've never looked at expensive rods or reels. What would be the point? Would have to do some research. Seems like a lot of people like their Megabass rods. DC reels are loved by many, but I'd probably lean towards one of the very high end Daiwas..

Otherwise, I would have to go the megabass way with a zonda reel and nrx rod.
Already have a bunch of customized reels and dx's but no boat. That's probably where my money should go

Quantum tour MG, with a shimano cumara. or the same reel with falcon cara t7 micro... not the most expensive combo, but its very nice and light, looks like a joy to fish with...

Yes, but get something good. Not Megabass. Kureha or something in that class. (R18 is decent, but there's better...)

I was going to say the Zayta at first but since they got pushed back I chose the NRX. I cannot wait for the Zayta

Love my cumulus/Aldebaran, and cumara/ stella combos.
I think the only thing left I want is another conquest, and to try an evergreen and megabass rod.

Recently sold my motorcycle and have been debating on pulling the pre order gun on this reel! I keep thinking of all the other goodies I could buy for that price though. Truly a sweet looking reel.
