I would like to know what lines everybody else uses. I use either power pro braid in 10 20 and 40 pound test and then seaguar fluorocarbon what does everybody else use.
Andrew
Braid: Power Pro
Mono: Trilene
Fluoro: Haven't really tried too many yet, but I'm really liking this InvisX
Braid: Daiwa Samurai (55lb) and Suffix Performance (65lb)
Mono: Don't use
Fluoro: Daiwa Steez (12lb and 20lb)
Yo-Zuir Hybrid
Seaguar Invisx/Tatsu
Daiwa Smaurai
Jeff
power pro and Invisx for me
Power Pro Braid
Seagar Invisix Floro
Yo Zuri Hybrid
Mike
Braid: Suffix 832
Floro: Seaguar Invisx
Mono: Suffix Siege
power pro braid 30# and 50#
Braid: Power Pro, but I have yet to try Sufix 832. PP is good enough for now, so I save $8.
Fluoro: Invizx hands down. I doubt I ever fork over the insane asking price for Tatsu, but I probably will because the bait monkey controls my every whim.
Mono/Top water treble hook stuff: Yo-Zuri, Yo-Zuri and some more Yo-Zuri.
Ultra light: Sufix Elite is excellent mono for spinning gear. It is supple beyond belief, cheap and strong.
Braid = original 50# power pro
Mono = Trilene (XT or Big Game)
Floro= seguar invizex
Seaguar InvizX, AbrazX, Senshi and Kanzen
Yo-Zuri Hybrid
Power Pro Super 8 Slick
Braid - Suffix 832 20, 50, 65lb, and Seaguar Kanzen 15lb
Mono - P-line CXX 15lb and Yo-Zuri Hybrid 12lb
Flouro - Seaguar Invis-X in 8, 10, 15, 20lb, BPS 12lb.
So far I like the BPS, but I've always used Seaguar. Its no replacement, but I haven't found a reason not to keep fishing it for now.
Fluoro: Sunline Super Fluorocarbon, BPS XPS, and Sunline Castable Fluorocarbon
Mono: Sunline Super Natural
Braid: Don't use it.
All reel's are spooled with Suffix, and then mono or fluoro leaders are tied direct with an improved Blood knot in different weight's depending on species and technique.
braid: Suffix 832
fluoro: Seaguar AbrazX
Mono: Trilene Big game
Power Pro on everything.
Braid: Suffix 832
Mono: Suffix Siege

If you do, make sure you start with a reputable brand because it is VERY easy to write off all fluoro due to a bad experience with bad line. Typically this does mean spending a bit more.

Seaguar red label is what I use I like it a lot and it compares to trilene 100% at way cheaper prices.
Braid: Daiwa Samurai with PP slick8 2cnd
Mono: Seagaur Senshi
Floro: Still searching for one I like, right now it's Sunline Shooter
Floro leader: Any
Why is 18# Samurai more expensive then 40# Samurai ??????????
8# 10# 20# PP
10# 15# 20# PPS8S
6# Nanofil
Braid: 40# or 65# power pro slick 8 or diawa samurai braid.
Mono 12# big game I only have one rod with mono on it.
Flouro and leaders: Don't use them.
Monofilament: Sunline Super Natural (jerkbait rig only)
Copolymer: Yo-Zuri Hybrid
Fluorocarbon: Seaguar Tatsu
Braid: Seaguar Kanzen
How do you like the tatsu?
PowerPro 15LB or 50lb, and Red label 6lb (used Invix but couldn't tell much difference).

I think it is the best line I have ever fished. I have two reels spooled up with Tatsu only and another
5 with Tatsu as leader. The length of the leader places the connecting knot 5" or 6" above the reel
so that it never comes into play when casting.
All I use is mono. Sufix seige and elite are my go to.

I use red label for leader material and tie my leaders to my rod by tieing an Alberto an inch above the first guide. With the knot being so small it passes through the guides with no problem
Braid is::: 832 and pp
Mono is suffix
Fluro not a fan of but sunline
Tatsu, Invisix, Trilene XL, Sniper, Shooter, Abrisix, Suffix Elite, Gama co-poly, P-line 100% floro, Kanzen, and 832 are all seeing aplenty of use this season.

Yo-Zuri is as tough as nails and handles much better than Pline. Also pretty dang cheap.
Braid - Spiderwire Stealth Moss Green for spinning #10, for baitcast #30 #50 #65
Fluoro - Bekerkley %100 fluoro #6 #8 for spinning, P-Line #4 ultralight, for baitcast Vicious #12 #15

Co-Polymer - Yo-Zuri #12 haven't test it out yet but looks promising(Isn't as stiff as Vicious)
never use braid
mono sunline super natural
fluoro Toray superhard upgrade or tatsu
co poly either mccoys or gamma
