Must have ventured over to some Wisconsin waters or some "shared" waters, huh? I've been trippin' down to Iowa since late March, 'cause I just can't wait for Minnesota to open up!! Been hammerin' them too, but now will try a swim jig to see if I get that same quality!!!!

It wasn't directed towards you. GreyWolf has always had a problem whenever I bring up NorthStar and he goes out of his way to make it apparent for awhile.
Trust me, it will take a lot more to hurt my feelings and I will continue to promote the best jig company because that is what I believe.

Ok I was going to stay out of this but this topic is bugging me, the sponsors of this site are what keep the site going, all of us feel we need to get the most out of our money and we are going to do promotion, period! If you have noticed at all, I and other members of my pro staff have tried to stay away from best jig threads and that sort of thing, I know there is such a thing as over promotion and the last thing I want to do is turn people off. Nick specifically did not mention my jigs in the beginning of this thread, someone asked him what he caught it on, and he told them, this is not considered spam, if you want examples of spam I can show you my junk folder of my email account there is about 800 emails a week that I get that go in there.
On a side note if you are continually hearing about a product or company maybe you should try and figure out why it is talked about over and over, JJ's, Rage Tail,TW, BTD, Doctor Spinnerbait, and Yes NorthStar all seem like companies that get alot of publicity on this site. Instead of complaining when people mention them check the company out and you will figure out why they all get talked about!

Hey vinny nice fish there man. I want to be able to atleast get half the size you're getting on swim jigs. They are one of those baits that should work but rarely do for me.

I'm not a "pro staffer" though. They just truly work for me. I can honestly say that the Northstar jigs are the best I've ever used, by far. I am about to place a $100+ order on them.

I understand that sponsors keep this site going. My comment wasn't stated to bother anyone, just pointing out that some threads have become too immersed with sponsoring that i find myself reading less and less on this site than prior. I still love this site and love what Glen has done, just that this site is a fun bundle of knowledge and sometimes too much sponsoring gets kind of annoying. Given your position, i don't blame you for pushing a product online since it is the best place to do so; just some people push a little too hard. Either way, no one is questioning the northstar product in that i have communicated with you prior by PM and have seen your jigs online and they look great. It just seemed like the typical post where he is itching for someone to ask what product it was since he emphasized with his emoticon the "one" lure wink wink. No one is furious with what he posted, we are just pointing out that sometimes it is a little much. Given i am not in any position of authority on this site i don't expect you to see my perspective or change your tactics; it's just an opinion.
But the point of my comment was, yes it feels like a commercial, but, GREAT fish from Vinny. They are beauties and he is doin great.

BTW if you look back at my NorthStar posts, most of them are responding to an original question that had to do with either jigs or spinnerbaits. GreyWolf is making it seem as if I am going out of my way to start multiple threads promoting NorthStar, which has never happened....Since when is it a sin to voice your opinion?....
