Caught my personal best this weekend fishing from a dock on a small pond at our deer lease in Centerville, Tx. We didn't have a scale but compared it to pics and videos online and we estimate 7-8 pounds. Caught on a 1/2 oz. Booyah spinnerbait during light rain in about 3 ft of clear water.
Nice fish congrats on your P.B.

Congrats on the PB, that's a great fish!

Very nice fish! Congratulations.
Congrats, nice piggy!!
Congrats dude!
Great bass!! The big ones are hungry!!
NICEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh yes I say 8 is definitely a good estimation. That fish has it all, length girth, belly, 8 lbs is definitely in the equation on that one. Well done!!
Congrats on a great catch.
Nice hog!!
SLAUNCH
Fantastic and the photo is just right for your Christmas cards.
Congrats on your personal best.
Now that you released her you can go back and catch her at the spawn and add a pound to her weight.
Kool hat, too.

I gave serious thought to mounting her but since it is a small pond I put her back to make more big fish babies.
congrats, great C&R
Beautiful old fish! Although maybe not so old in Tejas. You have a good enough photo to do a repro mount, all you would need is a length and girth measurement.

Never thought of that, thanks!
Congrats!
It has long been a dream of mine to catch a bass big enough to mount on my wall. And dont grt me wrong, I still have that desire to catch one like that, but with the advent of smartphones, the ability to get life like replicas based on weight, length, and girth, and thee preservation of quality fish, I no longer wish to catch a live fish just to have it die to put on my wall. Now that we can take photos on the spot, and get life like replicas made, we can let these beauties go back and reproduce to keep the population going strong, and even for another angler to catch d own the road when it is potentially bigger. I have my doubts ill ever get into one over 4lbs, but if I do, a simple photo will do just fine. If I could think of it, getting the length, girth, and approximate weight measurement (no one scale is 100% spot on in my opinion) for a replica would be icing on thr cake. Of course nothing really wrong with taking a fish and mounting it, but conservation is one thing I will take I to thought.
That is a great bass and all, but I do believe I like the outfit much more than I like the fish! Killer threads!
lol thanks, that was after the morning deer hunt
