Here's a video of a little of today's froggin'. Nothing spectacular but I had really wanted to try doing a little filming. Bro finally agreed and although it's not the best video, we learnt some dos and don'ts for the future. The fishing itself wasn't outstanding either, I had a little under 20 fish after 2.5 hours but most were around and under 2lbs. Biggest of the evening is the last one of the vid that weighed in at 2lbs 14oz. Hopefully I'll get a hawg on film someday... We only filmed for the final 30-45 minutes and still got some solid strikes on video. For some reason the fish wouldn't take my Rage Tail today, something was clearly screwed up
CAUTION: There's Rock music in the video & it may bother some people
Hope everyone enjoys the vid. Sorry about the music stopping 3/4 of the way through, my movie maker was acting screwy, the music picks up again after 40 or so seconds.

Fantastic video Kozak; especially liked the slo-mo of the jumps.
BTW what lure are you using (I know it's a frog but brand/color)?
Thanks Eddie
At the end when it gives the weather conditions, it also says "Lure Used: Spro Bronzeye (black)"
thanks again
Nice video,keep it up.....
Nice video. That looked like a lot of fun. Keep on posting.
Nice video! I wish the water temp was 74 here... the last time I went fishing it was 93 lol.
Cool footage man!!
and a camera that ZOOMS!! lucky dog, lmao
Cool video man!
Great Video!!!! Just a little bit longer and your camera man will be filming you for TV!!!! 8-)
thanks everyone
glad you enjoyed it 8-)
Great video!
Very nice. We got the mid 70's water temps but you can't find a lilly pad on a lake around here to save ya. I know of one pond that has them on it and they are so thick and matted looks like you could walk across the whole thing.
Awesome topwater action Kozak.
I used to live in northern Mass (Lowell). Didn't know they had waters like that up there. Those are some nice pad areas, some scattered, some thick. Definately an area for that spro Frog.
Haven't quite got the hang of the spros yet, I mostly use the Sizmic toads but am looking foward to learning more with the spro (bought a couple recently).
Good job nailing those fish dude. Looks like a lot of fun and looks like you really got on em'. Good video shootin' as well.
Very good video ! 8-)
Nice frog action.
Keep it up.
that was a very fun video!
i love the music and i like how on the first song, the part when the chorus really kicked in was synched to when the fish hit! really neat!
looks like a great pond to fish too!
Cool vid mang.
Where were you fishing?
Awesome Video! That first fish crushed the bait!
Video is excellent! Thanks for posting it!
Ronnie
thanks everyone
It was filmed on a pond in the Northshore area of Massachusetts. It's a public pond with mostly private property surrounding it. There is one public path leading to the pond but I don't know how many people know about it. I've talked to the property owners around the pond and they've all said it was public as well and that they've only seen a couple people fishing it... hopefully it'll stay that way ;D
oh, i meant to ask...
how come on the last fish, it looked like your frog slid up the line?
Quoteoh, i meant to ask...how come on the last fish, it looked like your frog slid up the line?
because it did! I had probably caught about 40-50 fish on that one SPRO frog, they can only take so much of a beating ;D Nearly every fish turns it inside out now, most of the time it doesn't slide up the line though.
QuoteCAUTION: There's Rock music in the video & it may bother some people
Rise Against offensive? Come on man. ;D I thought you were going to have some Lamb of God or Pantera playing. Just messing. Sweet video!
Great video man....Thanks for sharing!!
The thing that struck me the most was that you were willing to throw it where most would not. Congratulations on the fish, video, and the plan of attack. You are way ahead of most your age.
Thanks for sharing your frog fishing video and for free too!
Nice video, btw they don't make those frogs like they use too but I still like them.
Great stuff Kozak,
Big O
That's pretty sweet man.
