I really hate doing this but I used a different boat and I didn't have my scale. How big do you think it is? It was caught out of Lake Russell in Georgia.
I don't but if it were me the first thing I would do is to change my avatar picture from that fish instead of the dink you have in your avatar. On 12/31/2014 at 7:10 AM, basschaser21 said:I really hate doing this but I used a different boat and I didn't have my scale. I was thinking the same thing. I will soon as I get home on my computer. On 12/31/2014 at 7:13 AM, Raul said:I don't but if it were me the first thing I would do is to change my avatar picture from that fish instead of the dink you have in your avatar.
I'm guessing 6-7lbs. Nice fish.
Looks to be in the 4 lb range to me. Only way to be sure is have a scale!
Great fish by the way! Congrats!
Jeff
Appears around 5 (more if full-bodied).
In any case, great catch

Yeah. I hate putting these post about weights on here but I want to know. I was guessing 4 or 4.5
Idk, but it's a nice catch!...
Nice Bass ~ Especially for the back end of December.
Congrats

Did u have a tape measure?
No, unfortunately I didn't. I wasn't fishing out of my boat so I had nothing.On 12/31/2014 at 9:06 AM, Jtrout said:Did u have a tape measure?
I'd say 4#. Give or take half #
3-4 lbs
Skinny bass, could be over 4 if it had some meat

I agree with this!
My immediate thought was 4.5.

Nice looking fish.
I wouldn't dare venture a guess as to weight, but can offer one piece of advice when you find yourself in this position in the future. People will be able to judge the size of your fish if you learn to put something of a known size in the picture with your fish. For example, a dollar bill is approximately 6" long, and laid on top of the fish would give you a sense of scale in comparison.
Big head on her, I say 4.5ish.
I'd guess around 4# as well. Did you measure the length or girth?
big head, skinny body. i'd say 4 pounds myself.
4-5.
Wtg!
Greater than 1lb, less than 10lbs.

I have marks on my rods at 20 & 25", gives me a good idea of the length, I don't carry a scale.
You will never know how much that fish weighed. But does it really matter? What difference would it make if you knew? Obviously, you're curious, but forget about it, get a scale, and go catch another one.
When in doubt... take a piece of line and cut it to the length of the fish and then the same for girth. You can measure them later and use the calculator to get a good idea of weight.
Just a smidge under 11 lbs. ..... if you weighed it on Jupiter.
I believe that the space shuttle does have a livewell.
between 3 and 4 lbs.
4 is a good starting point, could be bigger. Not seeing the entire picture, some say it is skinny, but I cant see the belly from here. I say a solid 4 for sure in my opinion, possibly a little bigger depending on thickness. Quality catch either way!! If you asked me if I would be satisfied with one like that, id reply heck yeah I would!!
I bet it's a couple ounces shy of five pounds. Nice fish!
