Listed below is a link to a website that lists service stations selling ethanol free gas. It is a wewbsite that does not advertise or collect revenue, just a guy who wants to help boaters find ethanol free gas. I know that three of the locations listed, one of which is in my home town of Cartersville , do sell ethanol free gas. Anyone can add a location if they know of a station that isn't listed. If your outboard doesn't like gas with ethanol take a look at it. Ethanol is also bad for ATVs and lawn equipment. The link is set for the state of Georgia but you can click on your state in a menu bar at the top of the page.

Awesome... I was looking for a site like this. My buddy is getting a boat and I was telling him about all the problems with the Ethanol gas. Great link!!!
Nice site! They aren't listed but if anyone gets in the Central Pa area all of the Snedeker gas stations (some of them are Velaro's now) are all ethanol free also.
Good stuff to know. Thanks.

You can add them to the site yourself if you want. It might help someone else avoid motor damage.
go figure, MA isn't even listed on there.... >
THANK YOU..!!
Can you even get ethanol free gas anymore? All the Kwik Fills in my area used to be ethanol free until the middle of last year, and now they're all 10% just like everywhere else. When we asked about it they said that it was a new law that the ethanol had to be in there, but I'm not sure if this is a federal or state law.
Just a heads up. Our local neighborhood Marathon gas station is ethanol free in Erie PA. I understand most marathon gas stations are ethanol free.
Good lord I have been driving right by 2 stations with ethanol free gas to go to onej that isn't. :-/
This is great to find ethanol free gas.just know this.I bought from a local store once that had ethanol free gas but it was cheap gas.I actually thought when I had mechanical troubles that there is no way my gas is bad and I knew the trouble was a fuel type issue. It ran like it was lean.Mechanic checked carbs lines filter fuel pump etc.He replaced some lines and primer. This fixed the problem only for a bit. When problem resurfaced he said u may just have bad gas.I put gas from a big name station.no more issues.Yes get ethanol free gas, but cheap gas is not a bargain.I'll use an additive in gas with ethanol before I will buy from that place again.I know of others who use it without issue though.
Outstanding information.
If nothing else it removes a lot of locations from the list of places selling ethonol free gasoline so we will not waste time and energy trying to find a location.
Thanks for posting.

has anybody tryed these new star brite stra tron enzyme fuel gas addative It says it will take care of our problems with ethanol gas KEN
Get yourself an ethanol test kit. I got this one from POR-15: http://www.por15.com/E-TEST-KIT/productinfo/ETK/
(This is NOT an ad or endorsement!!!)
I take it with me when on the road; you can do an "on the spot" test in about five minutes.
I tested gas in some of my local stations (the kit also measures water content, the component of "bad gas"). In GTexas the pumps are supposed to be labeled if they're using Ethanol in the gas. I found Exxon Premium in my area to be ethanol free (again, NOT an endorsement of Exxon!!!).
I also use a lot of Sta-Bil. So far no problems - I keep my fingers crossed!

As I understand it, once the fuel separates and water settles out there is no additive that can return it to its opriginal state. If things go that far your only choice is draining the gas and throwing it out. Or donating to your brother-in-law with the hotrod Mustang.
So, you are trying to keep it from separating in the first place.
not one in NJ, that sucks
Motor heads at my marina said stay away from enzyme type gas treatments as they are nothing but trouble in a bottle. Don't know if thats true or not, just saying thats what I was told.
Florida also has a list of stations with non-ethanol fuel throughout the entire state. It is sometimes call recreational fuel and usually 90 octane. It is significantly more expensive but worth the cost in the long run. It is also not good to mix the two fuels. Almost all Marinas have non ethanol.

Seriously...this really sucks, do the marinas in NJ have pure gas?

I think Marinas have ethonol free. Its expensive!
Local Coop has commercial pumps and we picked up a card for it. Priced 20c cheaper than any other station carrying it.
Thank you so much for posting the link. The link is very useful to me as I was searching for the service stations selling ethanol free gas.
What a handy site. Only one place here in Michigan City,In listed. I would think that being right on Lake Michigan
with a large harbour, lots of boat trafic and even a Coast Guard station here in town there would be more. Glad to find out
where one is. Being retired now I can't afford big repair bills on my 115 HP Opta Max caused by that junk.
New at my local thorntons
I have a station near me that sells it. I'd like to buy but not for $20.00 a gallon.
I'll stick with marine Stabil...

That is ridicules, stations here have it for 3.10 a gallon.

Wow, I'd be all over that fuel.. It's probably taxes. RI is wicked.
California only has 18 stations. All extreme north or extreme south. I'm in the middle. Rats.

Most of California doesn't sell Ethanol gas. Yes they have it but our everyday gas we buy is Ethanol free as California does not import gas from other states and must refine the gas used in CA in CA. That's why we get to pay such higher prices for our special summer and winter blends.
So you're saying the Chevron 91 octane I put in my motor is ethanol free?
On 10/4/2016 at 10:19 AM, Redlinerobert said:So you're saying the Chevron 91 octane I put in my motor is ethanol free?
I believe so. The only ethanol at most stations around here have that stupid green leaf pump stating that it's ethanol.....and unless it's printed on the pump that it contains ethanol, then it is ethanol free. And being that you have to refine corn to get ethanol, I don't see our state passing any new laws letting them build a new refinery for that when they won't even let us import gas from other states. Yep gotta love those high gas prices we pay.
You could be right. I see nothing on Ethanol and Chevron 91 in California.

Sorry to jump in, but found California is not required to label their ethanol gasoline. So be careful with that 91 octane:

Well that's disappointing. Not surprising though...
As an FYI, all Stewarts Shops in northern NY have ethanol-free premium (91 octane).
Can anyone update this list?
I live in southern WV and ran across a Gas station/bait & tackle shop, and they do sale ethonal free gas and I would like to pass it on.
I'm not very computer savvy, but here's the info if someone could get it on the site.
J&J Kountry Korner
Rt-16 Crab Orchard WV
304-253-4583
It's a Citgo station
Any help with this would be appreciated.
Pure Gas also has an App for Iphone or Android.
I want to add--This goes for basically everyone but especially for those of you that use or must use 93 octane as I do . BUY only from name brand gas stations that sell a lot of gas. Remember Phase Separation occurs at around 30 days. Doesn't matter if the gas is in your boat or in a stations tank--it still happens. Why name brand? Many of them treat their gas already to prevent phase separation AND they do not cut corners when it comes to filtration at the tank. Do you really think a Mom and Pop independent station would spend thousands on a filtration system and the annual costs to maintain them!!!
The new WAWA at Cedar Crest Blvd & Hamilton St in Allentown.

I was talking to a friend that works in a hardware that repairs small engines. He said that he gets a lot of engines to work on and most of them use the Mom and Pop gas station down the road. I noticed that when I used them, my boat didn't run as good. I went back to ethanol gas and it does great. I do use the additives.
Because of the issues with ethanol most small engine shops will tell you don't use it. Because a small engine sets for long periods of time, phase separation is likely occur damaging the motor. So unless you run a small engine often, it's best to drain the gas out when you're done. You can find non-ethanol pre-mix in a can in many stores for small 2-strokes but it is expensive.
A lot of the Quik Trips are selling it here in GA. Got it last week before the storm for 2 .69 gal
We were vacationing in Ocean Springs MS and there was a gas station that only sold ethanol free gas. It was about 25 cents a gallon more than RUG in the area.
That is the first I ever saw with just ethanol free. I believe all the new WaWA have ethanol free pumps. Just look before pumping. We have several in the Davie area.
All the Wawa's here (jax, fl) have EF, but it's spendy. The Gate stations also have it and the price is within a few cents of Mid-Grade. I've actually started running it full time in my Ram 1500 5.7L and see about 3mph increase.
There's the old Woco, now called woodchucks in Saltillo,Ms. if anyone close needs a spot.
5 locations around Terre Haute,In. None in Terre Haute. Clinton,In. has Scotts Oil with reg and prem ethynol free. Riley, Shelburn In. has a Caseys, as well as Marshall.Il. And Brazil's east side has a Shell station with ethynol free.
I know this is an old thread, but I was surprised to see it. Here in upstate NY, the premium fuel at a lot of stations is ethanol-free. I don't have to go anyplace special. I can get it at my local Stewarts.
Casey's General Stores are almost everywhere.

Central and Upper Midwest...sure. But the closest one to me is half an hour away.
Luckily - the local Speedway (5 minutes) carries ethanol free.
