Answer: Can be used in both fresh water and sea water. As for cleaning it after using it in salt water, that is always a good idea just to prevent any corrosion from setting in.

Answer: This real has a switch on the bottom of the frame which selects anti-reverse or the drag system. In my experience the anti-reverse works extremely well
