Answer: There is no clicker, but I love this reel! This is my go to casting reel for Tiger Musky.

Can I use for saltwater like amber jacks and GT’s from shore on poppers?
Answer: To be frank, I have no experience with either of those species. It likely depends on how big they are and the weight of your poppers. But I would think you'd need the lower speed version of the reel as compared to the higher speed ones since that would allow for more cranking power. The reel itself seems robust and should be able to handle the abuse but as to longevity at those conditions. I wouldn't know. There is a video on youtube about a guy landing a yellowfin tuna on a revo toro and this is the beefed up version of it so it should be able to stand the abuse.
Answer: Hell yeah you can, I use it with the power handle to throw poppers for yellowfin and bluefin out here on the west coast. Wouldnt want to hook a #100+ on it but it could handle it
Answer: I use nothing but Abu Revos, I have a few of the Toro series and everyone of them have reeled in 40"+ Bull reds and 2-6' sharks. All have 7.0' M/H rods with 30-40 braid. I recommend a Revo or Toro series who anyone who asked. They are all around great inshore reel.

Answer: It'll work, but this is a big reel that may be overkill for bass. I use the 60 for muskie. IMO, unless you have a specific need for a large amount of heavy line I would look elsewhere. You can get more for your money if you are looking for a bass reel. I own the Revo S and that is a great reel. Abu also has nice reels in a similar price range to the Toro that are more geared toward bass.

Answer: Most Muskie fisherman recommend spooling your braid on top of a mono backing. Several good YouTube videos on spooling a Muskie reel. I put 150 yards of 80lb braid on top of 100 yards of 25lb mono backing on mine.
Answer: The Abu-Garcia Revo Toro Beast Size 60 says on the box it is packaged in that it will hold 200 yards of 50 lb braided line. Doesn't say if it is with or without a backing line. However, I own 4 of them in various gear ratios and they are definitely big fish reels! Expensive but good.
Answer: Don’t use less than 80-100lbs and it fits more than you need. I use 30lb mono back end about 60-80yards and then my braided. You’ll have more than enough line for musky fishing.

Answer: Not sure. The HS stands for high speed. The high speed is 6.2 rotations of the spool to 1 turn of the handle. The other is 4.9. It comes with 3 handles. I bought the HS model and put the bigger handle on. You can turn it slowly if need be, but you can also turn it fast if need be. The bigger handle is padded and you can reel in big musky lures all day without getting tired. 61 means the handle is on the left side. 60, it's on the right.

Answer: I believe the beast has a 31" per turn retrieve rate at 75% spool capacity. It is the amount of pine retrieved per turn of the handle at 75% of the spool being filled. The fuller the spool the more line you will retrieve per turn.

I got this reel but the reel came facing down and i was questioned. I had a clinched feeling that someone has already used it. It came without the plastic wrapping and scratches on the reel. And the bearing make sound when i reel it. It also reels in a 2.1.1 gear ratio it picks up 28 cm of line i tested it when i got the hyper speed which is suppose to pick up 88 cm of line so i am very confused. Im getting a return hopefully it inst used and it actually works correctly.

Bought the fast retrieve model-6.2/1. Loaded it up with 80 lb. test braided line. Mounted it on a Bass Pro 7-1/2' med. heavy musky rod Tied on a 1/2 combination wrench as a practice plug and went out in the back yard to practice. After adjusting the casting control a bit I was casting well over 150'. Got out the 100' tape just to see how close my judgement was. I was casting 165'. I ordered another one used for $212. That's half what Cabelas wants for one. Only thing I don't love about this reel is that the line guide doesn't slide back and forth across the front of the reel during the cast and causes a bit of friction which I feel reduces the distance of the cast a bit. For this reason, I give it 4 stars instead of 5. Other wise, very smooth cast and retrieve. Love the fast retrieve for burning bucktails.

I bought this pull double 10 for Muskies and it works great really smooth and has a lot of cranking power, I bought a beast power handle and when I'm not using it to pull double tens,I am pulling small pick up trucks around with it. ha ha. Has fantastic pick up keep those lures from getting Caught in the brush. I would say this is almost a perfect reel feels great in your hand so far has handled everything that I have put on it with ease. I run 80 pound spider wire braid with 130 pound fluorocarbon leader,have not had any problems, be careful though it will cast a mile you will throw it to the other side and that not good.

When I received the package, visually, the shipping box was OK. I was expecting a new in the box reel, but this one was obviously already opened. I didn't like that at all. I should make it 2 stars, but the reel itself is fantastic and the shipping arrived next day.
I got the higher line capacity version, Abu Garcia T2 BST60-HS. It's big. Easily twice as heavy as my other reels, Abu Garcia Revo Premiere Gen3 and Shimano Chronarch Ci4+. The Beast doesn't palm as easy but I had no problems adjusting and finding comfortable hand positions. I had no problems adjusting to the weight of The Beast either. I've been able to drift fish for several hour stretches without getting fatigued by the weight.
The Beast is great. I use it on a St. Croix 9'6" heavy rod and I was able to subdue a couple of 15lb king salmon in a small, snag infested, river without issue. The drag is smooth and quickly wore out those kings. I had to tighten down the drag during a hard charge, and the drag responded well.
The cranking is quiet, smooth, fast, and near effortless. I can feel more things happening on the other end of the line because the reel is so quiet in my hands and I have to retrieve slower. The Beast takes up a lot of line when retrieving fast so you can get in more fishing.
I've only used The Beast a few times for king salmon, but I was quite impressed by it's sheer power and ability to subdue and reel in a king. I hope to use it for surf fishing, sturgeon, and cranking for bass. Time will tell how well The Beast will hold up, but right now, I definitely recommend this reel if you don't already have something similar.
