Touting the P2 Super Pinion, the Tournament MP has precise alignment and stability in the pinion gear through a bearing support system, resulting in smoother operation and extended gear life. Match that up with a premium 10-bearing system and externally adjustable Multi-Setting Brake (MSB) dual cast control system, and you have one smooth reel. A bowed, lightweight 95mm aluminum handle with Lew’s Combat Grip paddle knobs, Combat Grip thumb bar, and 20lbs of drag power, it won’t shy away from heavy cover and big fish.

Answer: Yes, but you should rinse after use

is it suitable for saltwater - inshore fishing?

Answer: Not sure since I have not used it in salt water. It has a good drag system on it, but line capacity is limited if you are fishing for larger fish that might pull a lot of line. I have a Lew’s super duty that I Muskie fish with that can handle bigger fish, but still not sure about the salt water effect.

Answer: I suppose if you rinse it thoroughly after use.

Answer: The reel has a label on it "KOREA"

What is the recommended lure weight range?

Answer: That all has to do with u pole pick and length and stiffness , not the reel. All poles are set to throw certain weight lures depending on what u want to fish for. Reel wise , lure weight is up to u and what line and retrieve speed u want, otherwise, what ever u think that reel can handle really. I mean u would not go out and use a giant penn ocean reel to throw a 1/2 ounce lure, even though u could if u wanted too. . really up to the fisherman about what he or she thinks the reel can handle really.

How much line will it hold ?

Answer: 120yrds of 12-15lb mono or 120yrds of 30-50lbs braid.

What comes in the box? I just got mine and just the reel came with nothing else, no bag, no paterwork...Nothin.

Answer: Same here, apparently that's it, that's all u get and a parts breakdown. No oil or bags or anything else ,just the reel. it is a great reel though.

Answer: The eye guide is on the rod not the reel. So can’t answer this.

Answer: Yes, But u must completely rinse and clean with fresh water afterwards and it will be fine.

Answer: The entire handle is removable but the grips don't appear to be.

Answer: I got the 6:8:1 ratio, they make 3-4 ratios.

Can you use this reel for deep fishing?

Answer: It is designed for fresh water fishing. Specifically bass. I’m not sure what you are calling deep. Deep fishing for me is 20’ to 30’.

Answer: Primarily a bass/walleye reel in my opinion

This is my first Lews reel. I have used Bass pro brand bait casters for years and had good luck with them . I had a fishing buddy that had Lews reels and he had me try one of his and I could cast much farther and it was so smooth. I didn't know my old reels were that bad so I picked up 2 lews Tournament my speed spool Lf reels and I love them. I've only fished with them 3 times so far and they are easy to dial in for the weight of the bait your using.
