Answer: It's a big real I use mine to cat fish but o cast it alot and it works great it's a great real for the money it catches fish smooth and solid

What kind of rod is shown in the picture would want to buy one just like that one?

Answer: Well sir that's a reel, but so far from my experience with this reel i would put it against anything in fresh water and anything within reason in saltwater. Maybe not a 20ft. Great White but I'd give a 10 to 12 ft. Tigershark a sore mouth.

For the price of this reel I actually love it. The clicker is super loud had it about 80 yards down from where I was sitting and I heard it clear as day and I didn't catch a big one but I caught a small flathead on it. The only thing I can complain about is when I went to spool it there was no spot for the knot to grip and fill it up I just put a piece of tape over the knot and it spooled right up. Also looks really good on my whisker seeker rod goes well with the black and orange.
