I want to know if this reel has"turn the Crank instant forward drag engagement?

Answer: The reel has an automatic forward drag engagement. I wouldn't call it instant, as it takes about a half turn for the drag to engage. I have used it for a few months now and the engagement is fluent and virtually unnoticeable in the operation.
