This reel for long cane or rod is recommended ?, it is medium or large?

Answer: It's for a spinning rod. I have 12 lb test on mine and it casts real nice. For the money I would recommend this reel.

How big is it?

Answer: It is not big. It is for a light weight or median use, if anyone want one for much heavier should consider a bigger one.

Answer: looks like 2500 series reel, great for trout fishing. The only reels I use.

This is a nice real it is replacing another real the only bad part is it has some play but that's alright so instead of paying $100 for a real buy the diawa strikeforce and the retrieval is very smooth

I purchased this from Amazon a few years ago, and the bail constantly gets stuck open. I thought breaking it in would help. Then maybe some lubrication to the bail, but nothing had changed. Will just have to resign this to junk and replace.
